This Velco has both hooks and loops on one piece of tape. It is also non-adhesive, which is important when the Velco needs to be sewn. The loops are taller than the hooks, which makes it mostly snag free. The greatest benefit of this is no more dealing with two types of tape - one with only loops and another with only hooks. This makes it easier to use. It also eliminates the scratch of the hooks on sensitive skin. Since discovering the Snag-Free Velco, I use it exclusively.

This Velcro is NOT the tradition type with two separate connecting patterns. They use a single pattern that doesn't attach very well. I got this to replace the Velcro on a jacket and it is useless for that purpose. I don't see how this can be used for anything. It doesn't stay together at all. Don't waste your money.

Works great and there is no waste! I have so many scraps of other Velcro that I don't know what to do with them. This solves the problem.

This is Velcro brand sew in Velcro without adhesive, which is what I needed. It is not your usual hook and loop type of Velcro with two pieces, one for each side. I was unaware of this change. It does not attach and hold as well as the traditional Velcro

Very weak attachment - added to jacket with broken zipper and is not strong enough. Might be good for hanging a cardboard sign on a wall or similar no-force application.

I am usually a very kind reviewer of most products but out of all the products I've bought in recent memory this is by far the worst. It does not stick to itself even under no pressure at all it releases for no reason on its own. Not even worth the return. Absolutely no application this would be useful. To be honest I bought this product by accident to get the soft stitch variation which I believe to be a great product. Buy that one instead.

Disappointed! This Velcro still snags at the cut edge. Bought this to make clothes for my granddaughter’s Cabbage Patch doll, hoping that the clothes would not snag the doll. Tested it out on an old doll—it is a no go! The cut edges still grabbed the fabric of the doll. Installed a zipper instead. That gives better fine-motor skills than Velcro anyways. So, if you want to avoid snags, avoid ALL Velcro, even that labeled “Snag-Free.”

Lovely and soft, not as good of a hold as regular Velcro but doesn't scratch tender skin

The media could not be loaded.  This velcro is slightly weaker than conventional velcro, but works just fine for most things. It really resists snagging my knits and woolens! I even pressed a handmade sweater (crocheted with wool-alpaca mix yarn) against the velcro, and it barely snagged!I used this to replace the conventional velcro on my winter jackets so it won't snag my gloves or scarves.

I have this tape in white but was unable to obtain it in black in the UK.Was delighted to receive it from abroad.I needed to attach a piece of it to the front edges of a black knitted jacket.It works perfectly.

This product doesn't really work. In combining the hooks and eyes together, the velcro has become much less effective, just don't stay together under the slightest pressure.

Extremely poor hold. A light tug pulls it apart.
