Giro Shields for Vanquish

I recently purchased the Giro Shields for my Vanquish helmet, and I am incredibly impressed with the quality and functionality of these shields. Replaced a damaged Vanquish shield. Works as expected.

You can wear the shield over prescription glasses. Other than Rudy Project, I am not aware of any brand that provides prescription cycling glasses. Rudy Project's glasses however cost about $1,000; so compared that, this looks a cheap and functioning alternative.

This is the second set of shields that I buy. They last 3-4 years and then the shield starts chipping off or it breaks in the middle. One big complaint is that you are buying $70 goggles that don’t have a case; even if you buy $40 sunglasses you’ll get some sort of case to protect and carry them in.

I bought the helmet about 5 months ago. Like a lot of other people, visor was cracked in shipment and no Onyx replacements. Happy to find a seller that sells the visor only!
