Well made, as described, arrived quickly. There are 8 screws in the package, not 4 as in the description. The peg shaft is 1/4" diameter, the existing holes for the friction tuners in my uke were only 9/64", so I had to drill them out. Center line of peg shaft is 5/16" from the edge -- if your holes are closer to the edge than that (as mine were, a little), the plate will show from the front; not a big deal, though. Plate is 1-1/4" long -- your peg holes must be at least that far apart. Note that they're quite a bit heavier than the friction pegs, so they change the holding balance of the uke, but you'll adjust.Makes the uke 100 times easier to tune -- well worth the trouble.

They work great! At first, I was a little hesitate because they were shorter than the ones that they replaced, but they are a-ok! Thanks for the GREAT deal!

I used these on my homemade Banjolele. The knobs are plastic and have a nice look to them. I have received several positive comments regarding their appearance. They add to the overall look of my Banjolele. They are open-gear tuners and I have noticed no slip.
