These are most likely not 40W LED lights and unfortunately I didn't find this out until after getting three of them installed. I suspect they are more like a 60W equivalent. They are just slightly brighter than the 60W incandescent bulbs they are replacing. The light is more diffuse though than the standard bulbs they are replacing and so that's good.4400lm converts to 293W and there is no way these are that bright. I had a 48W 2x4 T8 LED light (slightly more expensive) from another company in another home and it was incredibly bright, so bright that it was actually hard to look at without the acrylic lense on.None-the-less I'll be installing the last three but will then install two more much better LED lights in the areas where most of my work will be done.UPDATE 4/14/2019: I got the last three installed and the lights are brighter and so I'm giving it another star however these are still incredibly cheap and not as bright as units of the same wattage that are better built with higher quality materials.

Concerning broken/damaged diff users. Don't remember leaving a review, but one diffuser was broken, probably during shipment. The company responded with a question about the depth/height of the diffuser. Answered a couple of weeks ago, and so far no response. Not a big problem, because all of the fixtures have not been installed. Bright enough to equal an 8 ft. fluorescent fixture with two tubes and much less expensive than replacing a ballast in one of those. If a fixture fails, a new replacement will be less than the price of a ballast. Just would like to get a replacement diffuser /lens/cover for the damaged item.

These are well made lightweight bright and easy to install. Be aware that if you are replacing standard 2 light fluorescent 4’ fixtures these light will work, but will be about half as wide, really streamlining the look. The seller went way above and beyond after a quick response to an email to their customer support inquiring about the availability of a replacement diffuser that broke during installation. The folks at Faithsail wrote back that they would simple send me a replacement, which is already on the way! Get these or other products and support this seller.

I installed these in my garage and they're great. After putting up with one single light bulb forever these make a huge difference. I read some of the other poor reviews regarding trouble with the diffusers, no cover for the wiring, not being able to get the knockouts removed all to be not an issue. The quality of the fixtures is excellent. A couple of reviews mentioned that after starting installation they found a fixture that didn't work and were told that all the fixtures had to be returned so I checked all of mine before installing and had no issues. I wouldn't hesitate purchasing these again if the need arises.

Nice lights. The LED is built into the fixture. Hope they last a long time.

I installed six of them in my garage, they are much brighter than the 4 foot flourescent fixtures I replaced, very happy with the overall result.

Very simple to install and are very bright.
