I had achilles surgery and have to wear a walking boot. I wanted some tall socks to wear under the boot. These are great. I have big, muscular calves and I wasn't sure these would comfortably fit my calves, but they do! They're not especially wide, but they do stretch, so they should work for just about everyone.

Thin enough so you don't sweat too death. Thick enough to make it worth wearing socks.

This year for Christmas, my family played dirty santa "gift something popular from the year you were born". These represented 1970 for my husband and were the most stolen gift! My oldest nephew who ended up with them said they're comfortable and he's gotten lots of compliments on them.

I am a women's shoes size 9.5/10 men's size 7/8, and walk 7 miles a day, so, needless to say, I have got some large calves. These are the only novelty socks that I have found that fit without strangling my legs. 10/10 would recommend.

I purchased these to go with my daughters skates. They are really cute, but thin and very long. She is tall and these go up to her knees.

I bought both the black rainbow and white rainbow socks for World Pride, and I am SO glad I did! These socks felt thin when I first pulled them out of the box, so I shrugged and figured they weren't that expensive and that I'd get at least one wear out of them. Even though I have at least six other varieties of rainbow socks, I ended up wearing these all but one day of my trip to NYC. They are super comfy on my big calves and don't leave "sock marks", plus they stay up! What felt thin to me at first made these the perfect socks for tennis shoes, dress shoes, AND clunky Doc Martens. These are the ones I picked to wear for a lengthy rehearsal and performance at Carnegie Hall, and for once my legs and feet didn't hurt afterward! Bonus: I had multiple people ask where I bought them because they look so nice.These are NOT "costume-grade" socks; they're MUCH better! Even though I expect these to last, I'll be buying the other styles and extra to give as gifts. Love, love, love these!

I bought these socks simply to keep my toddlers away from my foot, but they have far exceeded my expectations. I broke some toes and messed up a toe nail in a freak injury at volleyball and was looking for a bright sock to grab my toddlers' attention to stay off my foot. I'm usually leary about buying socks for sizes 6-10 because I'm probably closer to a 10.5, but these socks are fabulous. They are very roomy even for my 10.5 foot with bandages on the toes, are not to tight in the calf even pulled up over leggings, are very soft and super comfortable. I love them so much I'll wear them even after the toes heal. As an FYI, they are very tall socks. I'm 6'1" and can easily pull the sock up to the bottom of my knee.
