Hi, this is one of the most wonderful books on making pincushions. 127 pages. When they say super cute pincushions 36 adorable pincushions all stitchers will love, they mean it! Very colorful pages, approx 10" x 7" in size, a nice addition to your sewing shelf, scraps could be utilized, no waste and what fun! Small medium and large designs, pets, animals, gifts and more, I am a happy customer, glad I got this darling book. It would be a great gift for someone added to a basket full of fabrics, threads and more. I love this book, eye candy, cannot wait to get started, the directions look easy to follow, steps, pictures, diagrams. Nice book. Enjoy!

There are a lot of sewing stiches used in this book but there is a lot of gluing too which is not my thing. Too many pincushion animals and aliens. No quilting. Even though there is an abundance of stitching going on I would still call the a ctaft book. Srry I bought it

Good directions

This book contains instructions and patterns for many clever pincushions; a great way to use up scraps and learn a few hand sewing techniques. The author works at the Royal School of Needle work in London, and does a great job of describing and illustrating the process for each project. If you enjoy pincushions, and want to have some that are incredibly cute and unique, this is the book fo ryou!

I found this book better than a few others that I bought. This book is not only good to look through to get inspiration, but I actually made a few of the projects and do intendon making more for Christmas. I found most of them were not only cute, but practicaltoo. The instructions are easy to follow and there are great pictures.

There are no templates to use! Otherwise this is a great book.Pictures are cute, and directions seem clear, but useless without template.

Comprehensive colour paperback book on pincushions smaller than A4.It has full size patterns at the back that can be traced or photocopied.Different stitches are illustrated and explained step by step for beginners.Instructions for making each pincushion are comprehensive and what is needed for each one is clearly listed from scissors to thread and fillings.A variety of techniques are illustrates.Designs are a little limited, with most being variations on an earlier one.

Very pleased with my purchase, lots of lovely ideas, when you flick through the book you think yea thats looks easy why didn't I think of that. Full size patterns easy to follow instructions very detailed. Well done to Kate for making the book. There are a couple of pin cushions that I don't think I would get round to making but all in all a very good book. As long as you have a few scraps of material of felt lying about you could make one as soon as you received the book.

I like the book. I needed some inspiration and ideas. And this little book gave me just that. I like the different fabrics that are used, not all perfect little fat quarters. You can use scraps of anything. So for me great ideas which you can expand on. Thank you Kaye Hazell 😀

This is an absolutely delightful book. I have just received it today, and there are several pincushions I want to make from it. A huge plus is that the templates are all printed full size - it annoys me to death when I buy a book and then have to enlarge the pattern pieces somehow!The hard part will be deciding which pincushion/s to make first.

This book is great. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and the designs are lovely. I have already made at least half of the designs in there and they make great presents. I have had lots of compliments on the finished pin cushions, my favourite being the cushion lidded jar.A great present for anyone interested in sewing and embroidery or even just for yourself.
