Barfi!

Amazing movie, I fall in love with Barfi!! Priyanka and Ranbir performances are great and powerfull; their characters are well manage and believe me I can't reconigze Priyanka in an interview after that, her transformation was awesome. The story is one of the most beautiful love story I ever, ever saw in a movie. That is exactly love is, accept each other without fear, sincerly and from the heart!The music is subliminal and have a special place to move the drama. It's amazing how the director/writer pays tribute to Chaplin in Barfi character awesomely performance by Kapoor. Definetly is neccesary to keep and eye of their future movies. ( both of them Priyanka y Ranbir) So sad the Academy don't chose it from best foreing language category. It doesn't matter because I owned a copy in my list of best movie ever made.

Very touching love story, with a lot of humor mixed in. I guess I benefit from the fact that I haven't seen the films that were supposedly borrowed from, and the overplaying of the song was part of the humor, with the musicians showing up in the most unprobable places.Definitely a family movie - something Hollywood only makes in animated films these days, it seems. I also like the fact that the film uses subtitles instead of dubbing over voices, I have never heard a dubbed-voice movie that sounded right.I see a lot of people nit-picking over whether autism was displayed correctly or not, I'm not too wrapped up in that debate - the girl was mentally challenged as Barfi was physically, and they were able to find true love in each other - THAT is the point. So many politically correct agendas out there that it becomes hard to enjoy such a simple movie, what a shame!My whole family loves this movie, we saw it in the theater, bought the DVD as soon as it was released, and have watched it twice since then.

The film has some of the best acting ever. Ranbir Kapoor is terrific and Priyanka Chopra unbelievable.A true and vivid love story. The cinematography is fantastic, the music perfect and the acting just awesome. I do not care what language it is in it should have won an Oscar for best picture, best actor, best actress. best supporting actors and best screenplay. Why the Indian film industry did not select it for submission to the Oscars is just insane. One of the best movies that you will ever see! To me this films shows some of the greatest performance actors of any language! The editing is great. The voice over work by one of the supporting actresses is perfect! You will not be disappointed if you enjoy love stories! Very heart warming!

This is unlike any other Bollywood movie I have ever seen. At first I wasn't sure I would like it but I was glad to be wrong. It is a must see. I would say that the back and forth between time periods was a little confusing and I had to watch it a second time in order to follow the story line fully, but even slightly confused it was still wonderful. It's not even a movie that can be fully described, it is one that just needs to be watched. Laugh out loud, heart breaking, innocent, and pure sweetness to watch!

This DVD was scratched and would not even play in my DVD player. Unfortunately, I opened it after the return window.

This movie was disappointing. It could've been an excellent film.

This movie a gem! it has everything you're looking for in a movie, it's funny, it's romantic, it has its fair share of action/suspense and even a hint of sadness. If you have a beating heart you'll shed a tear. The music is also something that stood out the most to me i love the trio that constatntly was there rain or shine (you'll see what i mean) ;) I recommend this movie to everyone out there. simply a heart-warming experience that you must have! hats off to the producers of this film. BARFI FTW!!!!

This movie was different from other Bollywood movies I have watched, but it wasn't a bad thing! The movie has a lot of drama and emotion; the main character is deaf which makes the movie interesting when you're watching from his point of view. There is lots of love and sadness and I found myself tearing up at a couple of parts (both happy and sad tears). This movie does a great job of keeping viewers intrigued and interested as it almost comes off as a mystery, I highly recommend this movie!
