Worked fine, no funny taste
You have to set this on a cookie sheet or jellyroll pan, as it's too floppy to use by itself, but other than that, it was easy to use, the cakes popped out readily, and the mold cleaned up easy as pie. There was no funny rubbery/plasticky taste in the food, either. I vacillated on the size of mold to get for my rhum babas, and these ended up just about right. Each cake makes a good-sized but not gargantuan dessert for one person.
