Woodcraft Project Paper Plan to Build Large 8 Gun Cabinet

I bought this plan direct from Woodcraft, and not through Amazon - Thus I do not show as a verified purchaser, even though I do own this set of prints. There are absolutely no instructions included. All you get is a single, large sheet with everything crammed together and overlaid one piece on top of another - relying heavily on only showing half views and broken line views to get this large piece of furniture on one sheet of paper. Overlaying multiple parts on top of each other makes my brain ache trying to figure out what I'm looking at. I consider myself an above average woodworker, but my skills are in Luthiery and flute making. Not counting musical instruments, I have not built anything but simple furniture pieces in 45 years. This is not a simple, basic piece of furniture. If you have lots of furniture projects behind you, then you should be ok, but woodworking skills alone will not be enough. If you need step-by-step instructions, I would suggest the U-Bild 875 cabinet plans. I also own those, but really want to build this nicer, larger cabinet. I'm going to have to get a couple of books on furniture & cabinet making and a book on Joinery and do my homework before I start making sawdust. I'm including a photo of some of my Luthier work just to make the point that I DO know my way around a wood shop.

This plan is easy to read and the instructions are easy to follow. I am an experienced woodworker who needed plans for a gun cabinet I was making for a family member. The plan was just what I was looking for. The only drawback was the poor quality of the paper it was printed on. I'd prefer a higher quality stock.

Kind of difficult for a beginner to follow the directions.
