This meter is pretty great for kids and anyone who just needs a quick check of their breathing. It's very easy to use and very light weight, so you can take it pretty much any where with you. Since it is just a bit of plastic, the one down fall is that occasionally the little red meter bit can stick. But its rare and it seems to be something that just happens to mine? So, it might not be all.Over all it's pretty straight forward and a good product to have on hand.

This peak flow meter was sent home with us from the hospital after a family member was admitted with asthma related issues. The meter works by forcefully blowing into the end which moves an indicator along the printed scale. There are two movable markers that can be used to mark the range of the test results.This is a fairly simple device that is made completely out of plastic, but it works well.Highly Recommended!CFH
