Quite impressed
Ultra thin and good looking. I walk with my micro 4/3 camera without the lens cap. In addition to protection, thin and lightweight are important features. The gold band is a nice added touch. Great value too.

Does what it should
Great lens protection and filter. Purchased for my sigma 150-600 , 95mm fits perfect, stays tight , great product for the money.

As expected. But… is this going on your Leica lens?
No surprises—this is a perfectly fine filter. There's nothing truly noteworthy (good or bad).KEY DETAILS:• Screws on and off easily.• Clear, clean glass.• Picture quality is unaffected.• A nice case (with a nice foam insert).• Very low-profile and lightweight.• Sharpness and contrast remain ok.39mm isn't a very common filter size. Tiffen's filter size database reveals that it's primarily limited to Leica lenses (along with two focal lengths each from Voigtlander and Fujifilm). I purchased a TTArtisan 35mm lens to experiment with the Micro Four Thirds system, and I realized that the TTArtisan lens also happens to be a part of this very small club.At the time of writing this, the majority of 39mm UV filters on B&H are only available by special order, or they cost upwards of fifty dollars… or both. This Fotasy filter was cheaper than any of the in-stock options on B&H.So, this is a tricky filter to recommend. If you need a 39mm filter for a Leica lens, you're probably not interested in a cheap filter (and the same is probably true for Voigtlander and Fujifilm lenses). On the other hand, I don't know if spending more money is really necessary, even if you're using this on a fancy lens. The bottom line: does this filter feature the finest possible glass and construction? Probably not. Is it perfectly usable? Absolutely.

Excellent in 95mm version
I bought The 95mm on a whim because they claim Schott glass, but I didn't expect much for $15.I will note that on the 95mm, 77mm 62 mm... they DO claim Schott glass and 18 layers of MC, most sizes are labeled "Japan" on the filter and claim 16 layers of MC and no glass claim. So my results may not be typical.I can't verify what the glass is, but the Image quality on the 95mm is (surprisingly) excellent.I tested this with a Sony a7IV with 200-600 at 600mm, taking 33MP very fine jpegs of a highly textured brick wall at 100 feet.Pixel peeping I can see no difference from this and a bare lens. And yes, some other more expensive filters have failed this test ( Urth Plus, Breakthrough X2)There is a Fine Knurl on front corner, gives Fair grip from front, minimal grip on sides.Back/male thread is 3.0 mm deep with 2-3 threads (vs typ 2.0mm 1-2 threads on most thin filters)so more thread engagement into lens.Side thickness is 3.4mm (typical of "thin" filters)Front / female thread is 2.7 mm deep. The surface has a yellowish-green reflection, indicating MC coating. The only real quality issue I find is Squeezing the frame, it flexes a little, glass can be moved a little within frame.

Excellent Protection !
I've been doing the Photography for forty years. When I was younger I would buy a set of filters for each lens. When I jumped on the large format bandwagon, I decide to buy 82mm filters and used step down adapters to work with my assortment of lenses. Decided to buy The Sigma 85mm Art a few weeks ago, and wanted to "protect" the lens with a clear filter, but wasn't in the mood to pay $190 for The B+W filter. So this is an excellent alternative at the moment !

Fotasy never fails
Over several years, I've purchased numerous filters and lens hoods with the Fotasy brand name. Slim, light weight metal, the threads are precision milled and have always meshed smoothly.

Awesome price and got it super fast!
Working fine just like a $200 filter glass works, it's crystal clear, thin and sturdy, what more could you ask for

ok
looks good, glass is unobtrusive to image quality, my glass cracked when I unscrewed after a week which was a little annoying, would not recommend or am I going to re-purchase. All that said it may have been my fault, but pretty sure I did not force it in any way and ive never broken a filter In years of using them.

Excelente fltro

UV filter for Fujifilm X 30
I was expecting to get the filter by end December but actually I received it today (on 21st Dec). The filter smoothly fitted on the lens of Fujifilm X 30 without any problem and a few exposures taken have been normal. Basically, I purchased the filter for protection of the camera lens. My basic purpose has been met.

Un producto de calidad
Inmediatamente se ve y se siente como un filtro de precio mucho mayor, vidrio delgado con recubrimiento plástico, excelente calidad que no reduce la cantidad de luz, lo que para mí es de lo más importante.
