LED Light Bar, Motion Sensor Detector Night Light Closet Under Cabinet NightLight - Battery Operated (Warm White)

My first impression of this light was feeling it is very solid and sturdy, the metallic case also looks modern and well-designed. Once I put 4 AAA batteries(not included) into the light, it won't fire up immediately because it is designed to work only in dark areas AND there is motion. The motion sensor works very well and it turns the light on when I enter its detecting zone, it is pretty cool and very fun to use. The light emits bright cool white light and it is more than adequate to shine up a closet, cabinet, small bathroom without blinding me. I can think of a lot of areas in my house that I can use this light and I might need to get a few more. Overall, this product works great and does the job, I highly recommend it!

I originally bought this for under-cabinet lighting. It's too sensitive to ambient light. Since the light only activates when the unit senses that it is dark in the room, the light did not go on when I mounted it under the cabinet (even though it was a pretty dark corner). Apparently our overhead kitchen light produced too much light. While it's not good for under-cabinet task lighting, I found it to be very useful for stairway lighting. I'd previously purchased OXY LED battery-operated lights for the stairs, and they had the opposite problem. They would activate even during the daytime. I replaced the OXY light with this one and am very pleased. It only activates when it's very dark and it gives off a good amount of light.UPDATE Jan 2016: I changed my review from 5 stars to 3 stars because after only 1 month, the light needs new batteries. I thought it would last longer because it doesn't activate during the daytime. I'll go back to the OXY LED light for my stairway. Though it turned on during the daytime, it lasted 4 months on one set of batteries.

I bought this light for a small bedroom closet. It gives off about as much light as a nightlight. I think I would need about 10 of these to adequately light even a small closet. I should have known, since it runs on 4 AAA batteries. Now it's on the closet ceiling for now, but I'll have to deal with a better solution later. Disappointed.

I would not recommend this item. This light is OK, but is definitely not what I expected. You can buy a very similar light at Wal Mart for half the price. I saw a similar light at Wal Mart and thought Amazon would carry a much higher quality light since these were way more expensive. Way too expensive!!! I would return but do not want to pay the return shipping. I may return anyway in spite of the return cost of shipping. Light is OK but too expensive, definitely not worth the money.

The light bar is nice. The light is pretty bright and the motion sensor works flawlessly. My one complaint about it would be that the light does not stay on very long. I put it above some liquor bottles in my bar. It doesn't seem like it runs more then 2-3 minutes if its not detecting motion. This light would be ALOT better in my eyes if it would stay on for 15 minutes every time the sensor is tripped. This light is more designed for a dark closet or area that isn't used as much. I thought I could get away using it in the bar, but will probably end up putting it in a closet and get hard wired lights for the bar.

I LOVE this light bar. I've only had it for a week so I don't know how long the batteries will last, but so far I'm extremely pleased. I needed additional lighting for my kitchen and thought I'd try this out just to see how under cabinet lighting would look before planning on doing any electrical work to install puck lights. I attached this above my sink and it works perfectly. It doesn't turn on when there is daylight, but in the evening when the ambient lighting in my kitchen is fairly low, it turns on when I approach to wash dishes and turns off if there is no movement. The light quality is warm and bright and perfect for giving me a little more task lighting without having to think about it. No switches, no wiring, and it's very affordable. It's like a little bit of luxury and feels like I have a high-end "smart" kitchen and it was so incredibly easy to set up. Put in the batteries, stuck it where I wanted it, done.

Nice warm light. Easy to install with peel and stick magnet.I used for under cabinet lighting, but when I have main kitchen lights on the light will not turn on because of the light sensor/ too bright in the room. The room needs to be pitch black for the sensor to pick up and turn light on. Not what I expected, was hoping they would just turn on from my movement near the counters for extra light when prepping food. Might return or just look for something else and stick it in a closet or something.

Worst LED light I've ever owned. I bought 2 of these and both of them died after about a month.
