An XS fits my 4.5 lb deer chihuahua really well. She is very thin and it’s hard to find things to fit her. She also suffers from color dilution alopecia. Her “blue” hair has mostly fallen out. She Is constantly cold and wanting to be warmer.She hated it at first and wouldn’t walk, but got used to it and is fine with it. She isn’t shaking from the cold either.

Absolutely awesome fabric, described as velvet/fleece ...seriously has a luxurious feel yet an odor about it that’s hard to stomach. The one I rec’d was made very well...for a TINY, TOY DOG, LITTLEST PUPPY EVER OR A VERY PREMATURE BABY !! My MGD weighs 9.1 lbs w/ a lot of long, wavy hair. I ordered your biggest available XL s’pose to fit 9.9-14.3 lbs ...ALL her measurements were w/in the parameters in the description~back length, neck & chest. I could place her front legs in the arms easily, her back legs also ...just not at the same time, forcing it would be cruel, not to mention the snaps ( not buttons) Nah, that wasn’t happening! This item has a lot of character. It’s elk/reindeer antlers are totally adorable but they’re heavy for the costume & can only flop mostly to the front. If your little one’s shy maybe that’d fly, but I want to see Lexi’s face....made for very difficult picture taking. Absolutely great find at an excellent price, as long as the recipient is absolutely tiny ! What up w/ that smell tho?

Love this little coat!! I was worried that it wouldn’t fit my mini poodle (15-16 lbs.) but I got the XXL and it fits him perfectly with a little room for when he grows his hair out. It’s perfect because it covers the entire body including the back legs, but leaves an opening for going the the bathroom for both females and males. The hood is a little funky. The hood a little long and the end is tighter so it doesn’t really fit my dog that well, but I got it more for the coat idea anyways. It is extremely warm and soft. As for washing, I washed it on a fast cycle on cold and let it hang dry, and it didn’t shrink at all. This did cause it to lose some of its softness, so I am going to try to dry it and see what happens. I’ll update when I do so. The only problem I have come across is the buttons. They are pretty difficult to click together and take apart, but there are only four so it isn’t too big of a deal. All in all, it is a great little coat and I highly recommend for anyone with a small dog.

The outfit is cute that’s for sure. It’s not very stretchy, it is in the legs but the chest doesn’t give. I ordered my normal size and it was too small. The chest was tight and My dog is on the long side, so, I ended up giving it to my friends dog as a Christmas Gift (because he’s normally a size smaller). I’m not giving a bad review, the outfit was super cute and would’ve been an amazing Christmas Sweater if it fit my long fat dog. I wish it did though he was so excited when he saw it and totally cried when it didn’t fit.If your dog has a larger chest or longer back this definitely won’t work, not in your normal size anyways. The fabric was good and nice and toasty warm. So if you’re dog has a lot of fur I would avoid it but if your dog is short hair and tends to be cold all the time like mine it would be perfect to keep them nice and warm!

The look on my boy Ru's face tells me that he doesn't know what a good idea this was just yet... But I promise you he was fine 😂 This costume is very plush and warm with little to no stretch. Definitely for occasion and likely not prolonged wear as it could get too warm. Ru is slightly underweight at a petite 3.8lbs and the Medium fit him perfect. Although listed with a recommended weight 4 to 5lb, I would say it's a pinch inaccurate as even 4lbs would be tight. Horns are heavy and floppy, but honestly it's pretty dang cute in person. For photoshoot you will need to plan to Macgyver them upright (I'm thinking a hair clip?).... But goodness this really is so cute for special occasion.

I've had this for several months now, & this has become my very favorite outfit for him. It shrunk a little in the wash but then restretched out with very little wear. It's so incredibly durable, & is still functional, adorable, & strong, after all this time. I cut the antlers off as soon as I got it, & I just bought a second one. Best fit. Love this.

I’m so, so incredibly disappointed that this didn’t fit. We tried the XXL because, in my experience ordering dog clothes from Amazon, the size chart is always wrong. This is, unfortunately, true to size and therefore doesn’t fit my Boston terrier.This is so cute and plushy and incredibly well made. The entire body and hood are lined with two layers of Sherpa/fur and the velvet antlers are nicely shaped, sized and stuffed. It has really nice snaps. Overall just a very high quality garment. I’m so sad to be sending it back.If they make a larger size or I get another puppy I will definitely buy this again.
