Beautiful Photos and history
After searching “Fredericksburg Hill Country,” I bought this for my brother for Christmas. Looking through it after it arrived, it has great history and pictures of Fredericksburg, VA. Not TX. I was bummed, but it was my mistake. If you’re looking for a book about Fredericksburg, VA, this is great.

Civil war buildings
Very good. I was really looking for civil war era buildings. There was a section of those.

This Is An Interesting Book About Fredericksburg In Virginia.
I have personally visited Fredericksburg in the past. Some of the interesting information that is mentioned in this book includes the following information: Fredericksburg is a relatively small town situated midway between Washington, D.C. and Richmond, VA which is the state capital of Virginia. Fredericksburg was the boyhood home of George Washington. Fredericksburg survived the Great Depression better than many towns in the U.S. because a huge cellophane plant on the outskirts provided employment to hundreds. The small cottage at 523 Sophia St. is Fredericksburg's oldest surviving building, dating from 1746. When the Route 1 bypass was completed, motorists were inclined to steer clear of Downtown Fredericksburg. However, the Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Center have tried to get some of those people back. Princess Anne Street was a popular stopping point with many restaurants, cafes, diners, and gas stations. Fredericksburg Hardware was a friendly small-town store for nearly a century.
