CH53 Sea Stallion Helicopter Wood Model

Just started working on the 53, I am a former 22 guy. This is made of quality materials. Very sturdy and heavy. I only wish the base was a bit bigger and more sturdy. If you don’t have it positioned a certain way it will tip your helicopter over. And the connections for the hub and tail rotor are kinda cheap feeling. I feel like there is supposed to be some type of loctite or glue to hold the blades into the Hubs but there isn’t. Other then that, a very fine quality model. I may order one in the version of a V22 because it makes mine look so tiny.

I like it but be careful ordering when it's hot out.A piece of mine exploded on the port side I think because it got hot (or cold) and the moisture expanded the wood and broke the piece.They do give you glue in case you need it and that is probably more than good most of the time. For this though, glue won't help.That being said I like it so much it's not bad enough for me to send back so I just faxed it the other way.
