Bit slower warm up, but picture brightness is as good as any other lamp.
Got this for my 73” Mitsubishi DLP. I’ve had to get several replacement bulbs and a DLP chip for this tv over the years. Some have lasted longer than others. So far this lamp is working well. The picture is bright and I haven’t noticed any quality difference between this and OEM lamps costing twice as much. Only difference I’ve seen is the warm up time... it takes a little longer, but nothing very inconvenient. Time will tell how long this lamp lasts, but so far I’m satisfied with this one and will likely purchase again when I need another one.

The part installed easily and worked beautifully.
The picture on our TV went out in 2013, LOL. Yes, out Mitsubishi has been stored somewhere for at least 6 years. We kept saying we were going to get it fixed, even thought about throwing it out because it was not working and taking up space in the garage. Well, we are so glad that we did not throw it out. Before installing the part we watched a YouTube video for instructions on how to install the Mitsubishi projection lamp. That was a big help because if we had not we would not have known that touching the glass on the lamp could damage it. My husband had the lamp installed in less than 5 minutes. I stood close by so that he could pass me the TV back piece that had to be removed, and help him place the old lamp in a plastic bag to discard. The picture is as brilliant as it was the day that we bought the TV. Also, This is the 2nd time that we ordered this part. We had ordered it several months ago for $34.99 from another provider through Amazon but never got it. Amazon refunded us. I don't know what happened but we put it on the back burner again, then. This part was $22 and is made in China, I think. It may have been Japan. I don't have the box in front of me because we put the old part in the box and threw it out. The YouTube video recommended only using Mitsubishi parts. But, we don't care where it comes from if it works and is 90% cheaper than having it repaired in a shop or 50% less than a Mitsubishi part. We'll see how long it lasts but the TV is now almost 10 years old so whatever time we get out of it is okay. It would have cost us about $300 to have the TV repaired in America, using Mitsubishi parts? So, you do the math.

Doesn't Last
It's not even been 6 months and this bulb has died. It looked to be good quality and it went in very easily, but it had numerous intermittent red light issues, that would sort itself out after restarting the tele. This time though, it does every time. The picture quality was quite good, if slightly slower to warm up, but 6 months is not good. The original bulb lasted around 5 years, the first replacement around 3 and another bulb a year.

The price is unbelievable!
I liked everything about this product, I received it then installed it. First of all I decided to get this for this fantastic price is because my picture was getting a little darker and I know my picture is usually clear. Like I said I put it in before that I cleaned the dusty fan inside and anything else that was dusty. After all of that I turned my TV on and like magic a clear bright picture just like it suppose to be. Yes I'm a woman and I didn't need a man to do it for me... Yeeeeah

Burnt my pixels, ruined my TV
Possibly my fault because I don’t know more about projection tv’s, but the same day I put this bulb in my tv screen started getting little white stars scattered across it. They just kept getting more & more then finally a guest told me what was happening. Took the bulb out and it was cracked- we had to look hard to find it. My tv is ruined. I bought this bulb because it was a dollar less than the one I usually buy. Now it cost me a tv. Perhaps I should have read the reviews.

Apparently you get what you pay for....
I bought 2 off these so id always have one on hand. Well the 1st box i opened up was the glass was cracked. I still put it in and it worked about 5 mnth then blew out...Put the other one in 2 weeks ago and it burned out today. Funny thing is this one had no cracks in the glass. Definetly didnt last as long as the broken one hahaha. If you need something temporary purchase but its not going to last....Frustrating that i had to order another lamp today smh

I TRIED IT AND IT DIDN'T LIGHT UP
I WOULD AVOID THIS INEXPENSIVE PRODUCT BECAUSE IT LOOKS OK WHEN YOU GET IT BUT I FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO INSTALL BECAUSE THE SCREWS ARE SHORT AND AREN'T INSTALLED ON THE LAMP FOR YOU......AND WHEN INSTALLED IT DID NOT LIGHT UP.THERE IS ANOTHER PRODUCT ON AMAZON FOR ABOUT $84 THAT I ALSO BOUGHT AND THE MORE EXPENSIVE ONE INSTALLED IN 3 MINUTES WITH THE SCREWS ALREADY INSTALLED ON IT....AND IT LIGHTED UP IMMEDIATELY.

works like new!
Our older big screen tv was getting darker and would not adjust any brighter. Replaced the bulb and it's good again.
