This hairpin is absolutely gorgeous! I have received many compliments on it already! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn't hold thick hair. I bought one for my daughter who has tons of thick long hair, she loves it, but can't use it at all, I wear the one I got for me frequently and plan to come back to buy other styles.

If you have thick hair or very thin hair, don't buy this. If you have a lot of fine hair or normal texture hair then this is for you. It's a gorgeous piece but I must warn that this is unyielding; which is why I am giving it 4 stars. In other words it does not bend with your hair. Therefore if you have thick hair it won't fit and if you have thin hair it will slide off (hair pin is heavy). Fortunately I have a lot of fine hair, so this works for me. This is a very well made piece with great craftsmanship.

There was some confusion getting this hair accessory. If you order more than one thing on Amazon at once check your packages carefully! This showed up with shoes and got thrown away the first time because I didn't see it in the bottom of the box. When I finally did get it, again it was mailed with something else. I almost threw it away again! Because again it was in with another item, underneath it. It fell out as I was throwing away the package! Having said that, I really like this accessory. It looks good and I get lots of compliments on it.

Beautiful. Holds well in hair, good metal, I was afraid of it being a cheap bendy aluminum, but it was not. It's smaller than I expected, due to the model's photo I guess, but it's a decent size and is well made. Good buy, totally worth it!

This is very pretty but the stick is separate and all of it is way too stiff I’ll prob use it this winter when I wear my hair down maybe. Just can’t get all my hair up in it for summer

Great product a little bendy but that works great for make a good fit for thinner hair.

I love the design. It's sturdy and well made. However, you have to play with placement and amount of hair or it will fall out.

Fits beautifully. Really dresses up the hair. Only negative is getting hair caught in the curlicues on each side. Difficult to get out. But I will wear it often.
