LEGOTechnic Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 42093 Building Kit (579 Pieces)

This was well worth the price since it is a larger LEGO. My 13 year old son received it as a birthday gift and loved it!!

I'm a new Lego enjoyer but Corvettes are my favorite car and orange is my favorite color so I had to get this set. It's my first Technic style set to complete. I would say some of it was challenging. And there were parts that said to make two identical of things but you actually had to make mirror parts instead. That was challenging to not have it all spelled out, as I'm a novice lego builder.Also, the bags were not numbered so it was a lot of pieces to have out at one time.It also does not come with a take apart tool.Overall, it was a fun build and it's a great "toy" to play with and look at.The doors do not open when made. The steering of the front wheels is controlled by a gear in the back. The pistons move when pushed. Pretty nifty!

This Lego kit was not easy to put together because some of the directions were difficult to picture since the pieces were so tightly fit together as opposed to being spread out as they are in some kits. But it was overall well planned in the mode of assembly and in the directions too. Unlike some vehicles put together in other kits, this corvette's size is substantial and it is genius how the Lego designers produced such a size. Love the fact that the pistons move when the car rolls. Wish the trunk and hood opened. Took about six hours to complete - working slowly and precisely. Finished product was a delight to create - very satisfying since all the pieces were present and everything worked as designed.

This was a gift for my son. He has an extensive Lego collection, but nothing from this series. His first issue was that all of the pieces were bagged together, with no numbered bags. Given that the model is mostly technic pieces, it makes for a challenging prep stage. Four times he ended up back-tracking, and at one point he tore the whole piece down to start over from scratch. In the end, though, he was missing only one dowel (which we had a few spares to replace in our stash), and the car looked and felt pretty solid. I got him the light kit, and this really brought the car to life.

Shipped on time and came in time easy to assemble I built the hot rod first cause I personally like it more but had to many pieces left over so built the vette instead and it’s really nice. Love the detail and functionality they put into the engine and steering. Great gift or great for a learning builder.

this was an enjoyable build. easy to follow instructions step by step. added to my other projects i have completed.

Das Lego Auto war ein Geschenk für meinen Bruder, er hat sich sehr gefreut über das Geschenk und hat es am nächsten Tag direkt aufgebaut. Um excelente presente para treinar habilidades motoras, raciocínio, organização e... a paciência. Levei cerca de 2 horas para montar com meu filho e o resultado foi gratificante. Qualidade lego.
