Bikini Girls of the 1960s

This is another great selection of Bunny Yeager's photos. It is the 2nd in my collection of Bunny Yeager's books. My first introduction was her Pin Up Girls of the 1960s. Unlike Pin Up Girls, Bikini Girls only presents photos in black and white. While there is something to be said for black and white, I'm a sucker for color images. I was expecting the bright vivid colors that were prevalent in Pin Up Girls of the 1960s. While I can recommend this book based on the images, it would have been much better in color.

Being a fashion model herself Bunny Yeager knows how to make a 1950s or 1960s bikini shot into an art form.

Nowhere (easy to find) is it mentioned that the book is entirely in Black and White. The cover clearly wants you to believe the contrary.very disappointing. Will not buy for that specific reason. Not that I don't like black and white. I love it. But in this case, the cover is a lie.

Can't rate this series at less than 5 star - Bunny Yeager is an icon to those who revere the classic and classy days of pin up photography - the books are beautifully produced and reasonably priced - I've purchased almost all the available titles so far - hope there may be more??!!Charlie Sparrey
