This item arrived quickly and was perfect! My friends live in an old home with landline connection outlets that are 4 prong. We needed to add another phone that would accommodate someone with visual limitations. This adapter allowed me to easily add a phone with the all features we needed. Just connect your telephone line to the plug adapter & plug the adapter into the old 4 prong phone wall outlet.

Long story, but did not have cell phone access recently, and due to a severe thunderstorm, our landline phone system was also zapped by lightening and not operational. I then had to use an old-fashioned plug-in phone and discovered our old 4-prong outlet plugs had never been updated. Trips to Home Depot and the hardware store taught me that no one carries these adapters anymore. Well, except for Radio Shack, if you want to pay $20 for one. No thanks! Ordered this one on Amazon and it was just what we needed.

I had lost my phone service after the one I had in the wall for 30 years finally burnt up. I ordered these but didn't think they would work correctly. They are amazing to be able to work with the old home landline from the past. To my surprise they did and they work wonderfully. I wuld recommend these to any one who has the old old old land line phones... great product.

This was a "lifesaver" as my old phone jack in the wall is a 4 prong plug and the newer phones don't use a 4 prong connection. This adapter made my new phone usable. Thank you so much.
