This grater is absolutely flat (no curvature) and fits nicely in my implement drawer. The rubber parts are fixed (no wiggle or slippage), so applying pressure during grating action is no problem. Very satisfying process, and I like the finished size of the shreds. Very good value for the price.

I got this grater to shred tofu, and it’s perfect! The holes are thick, so be warned if you want a finer shred, but I also love thick shredded cheese.I specifically wanted a grater that laid flat to fit in our random kitchen tools drawer, and the handle provides a great non-slip grip, which is perfect for my smaller hands. I’ve only ever had the big, bulky six-sided grater, and I hated it. This one is ideal for easy storage and handling. It’s super easy to clean, which is a huge plus for me. Lol it's a grater so there isn't much to review however it is very sturdy, sharp and easy to clean and easy to use.

Hard to believe that the big box stores around here have nothing but cheap box graters, and flimsy plastic, and metal flat graters, and I have to order online.When I opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised. It was bigger than I expected....which is good, and also seems well made ,and solidly built. It has rubberized ends to prevent slipping.I can't wait to use it next time I do another pizza...

I wanted a basic cheese grater that would be easier to use than my box grater and not take up a lot of cabinet space. Thus, when I saw the SALT Stainless Steel Flat Coarse Grater listed for under $5.00, I thought this is exactly what I was look for and in my price range too.Well, it does grate cheese but there are a lot of caveats regarding the grater itself. It is awkward to hold because the rubber grip handle slips out of position; it is not sturdy enough and moves and bends during the grating process; it only grates thick cheese, not thinly grated because of the size of the holes; and, it is not strong enough to grate carrots, potatoes, etc. Alas, my trusty box grater has proven itself irreplaceable.
