Winter Woods 44019 Ponderosa Pine Cones 8/Pkg-Natural

I planned to attach a small pine cone to the mason jar centerpieces I made, but realized when I got them that they were way too big. That was my fault for not paying attention to the size (large cones). They were still cute though just sitting on the tables.

Large? The pine cones are packed in WI (where I am originally from). Compared to Georgia/Florida pine cones, these are scrawny! They should NOT be labeled as large. I bought the pine cones for the purpose of making a wreath. Online said 3-4 inches if I recall correctly. I was hoping to have enough 4 inch cones to go around the outside of the wreath, and hoping to have enough 3 inch cones to go around the inside of the wreath. I have ONE pine cone that was 4 inches. I also have one that is 2 inches. The majority (and I bought 5 bags) are less than 3 inches. Between 6-12 cones are garbage! There isn't a good side to them for the wreath. I am so glad that Dollar General had an after Christmas sale, where I picked up two boxes of pine cones for the price of what I paid for one of these bags. A total waste of money! My mom has made beautiful pine cone wreaths for so many people and she taught me recently... I was hoping to make a beautiful wreath for her 75th birthday. Hopefully, I can put together what I need out of my .25 bags.

Great size

I was surprised at how large these pinecones were. YAY! Each of the 8 were in pristine condition upon arrival and were hardy to work with attaching them to the string to use and hang as a garland. They were packaged quite well with no breakage. To hang them, I bent a rubber band in half and looped it through the front and sides of the pinecone points so that the two ends were facing the back of the pinecone. This allowed me to attach to the string with the pinecone in perfect position (without them poking any which way). These are very high quality pinecones. Thick and hardy and sturdy. I've taken the garland apart since then and have stored them for another use. I would have purchased a second set to make the garland more full had time not run out. I will definitely refer back to this order and seller should I need to purchase pinecones for any reason. These were wonderful and I was pleasantly delighted at their usefulness, look, and feel.

I am very dissatisfied with this product and will most likely return it. I was looking for an assortment of mixed sizes of pine cones and I ordered two for the project I am working on. Unfortunately, the bags came and they are all the very small pine cones and there is not any variety in the sizes. The package was so small, it fit in a smaller mailing envelope and was in my mailbox. I was very disappointed that the description did not match what I received and I don't think it was a mistake since I ordered two packages that were delivered on two separate days and they both contained the single small size.

Product as descibed... Just a high price for what you get.

I received the pine combs and they are exactly what I was looking for. They are the perfect size and all of them were alike. There was plenty of them in the bag and none of mine were broken. I would recommend buying them especially for the price. I also bought the smaller pine combs as well for contrast.

One: They came and almost all of them were damaged. Two: even though they state on the post the size of the pinecones and say give or take a few inches, these are not big at all and not even close to the size. Most of them are around 3" tall if not smaller. These will be returned.
