Great light, perfect for ceiling fans!
This bulb is perfect for my application. I was concerned because in the description it says "TIPS - This E12 LED bulb is not recommended for use in ceiling fan lights for the motor will interfere with the light bulbs. Suitable for INDOOR household use in kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, offices, family rooms, bedrooms, hallway, etc." So I reached out to current purchasers and had 2 respond saying they both used them in ceiling fans for quite a while with no issues. So I ordered and they are in fact perfect! They give bright light, but not harsh, and my fan has no affect on them. I can't speak to their longevity as I've only had them a few days, but they are working as hoped for and thus I ordered another box for another fan.

The right bulbs transformed the look of my new light fixture.
I only just got these, so the longevity of them is something I can only be optimistic about (but I've had lots of luck with most energy efficient bulbs).I just had a new light fixture installed, and was disappointed when the previous bulbs I bought were dim, too yellow (even though they were called 'daylight'), and produced this harsh starburst light pattern on the ceiling. The electrician suggested I go for a higher apparent wattage (which can be done with these LED bulbs), and for a cool, frosted bulb to get the effect I wanted. These were what I found, and they are perfect--the space is now much brighter, no yellow effect, and no sunburst pattern cast through the room (which, while an interesting effect, was not what I wanted in this space). The kind of bulbs can certainly make a difference.

Great product for ceiling fans with light restrictions!
So we installed a great looking ceiling fan, with light fixture, but with the problem of 160W draw limit. It had come with 4x40W incandescent candelabra bulbs and it wasn't sufficient at all. We then put 60W equivalent LEDs in it but it was still a little dark. Finally, we decided to try these 100W equivalent bulbs and our light is now satisfactory. Not quite as bright as our old 4x75W incandescent A bulbs, but hey, these are little candelabras and do the trick!

Good for about 3 months
I bought these lights because we have a ceiling fan with enclosed lights and we needed a bright light. We used CFL bulbs in the past which typically lasted about 14-18 months. The problem was that CFL bulbs have mercury and we thought it would be more environmentally better to go with the LED bulbs. This is the 3 type of LED's we tried. All perform the same. For about 3 months they are very bright, but then they begin to fade. Additionally the base on the LEDs become very hot. So we've gone back to the CFL's.

Terrific brightness
I really was frustrated before, trying to do crafts in the evening at our big dining room table with the chandelier up above. The lighting was just too poor and it was something that was driving me crazy. When I ordered these and put them in I couldn't believe the difference in the brightness. It's almost like daylight and making greeting cards now is so much easier and more pleasant with the proper light. And when we are dining at the table I can just dim them so that they aren't so bright for eating... which makes this an ideal solution.

Special feature
I used these bulbs in my bedroom ceiling fan. The bulbs are very bright and light up the room very well. One thing I did not expect was the bulbs tell you if the light is set to come on when power to the fan is applied via the wall switch. My ceiling fan uses a single wall light switch and pull chains to control the fan and light. I am never sure if the fan light is on or off when I turn on power to the fan. These bulbs tell you by a very low powered glow if the lights are set to come on when the switch is turned on. The glow will disappear if I pull the light chain to off.

BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL, BUT JUST DON'T LAST
bought a couple of boxes for my front post light, looks so nice and bright i am buying more for the rest of the house. Now that i have had them for a month or so, the bulbs are blowing at a rate of 3-4 per week. I was a fan at the start, but now will try a different one!

I Can See Again
We put up a ceiling fan that had three candelabra sockets. The incandescent bulbs that came with it weren't nearly bright enough. I found these and figured I'd give them a try. They are plenty bright, much brighter than the standard 60W bulbs I replaced. They have been in use in a ceiling fan for about 2 months now with no issues.
