First of all, the tool that comes with the loom is not exactly what it is pictured. I received a one sided hook and a plastic needle. The hook works fine, the eye of the needle is too small to use with bulky or doubled yarn, which is what the instructions call for. My loom also did not come with a carrying case. It came in heavy duty plastic bag, which had to be cut to be opened. It could not be re-closed nor did it have a handle of any kind. The bag once opened, even carefully does not even make good storage for the loom and hook.However, the loom and the instructions worked as promised. I can knit and was looking for a way to teach younger children to make something useful with a minimal learning curve. I think this will fit the bill. I was able to make a small child's hat in less than a couple of hours with no previous experience. This is a fun item that practically guarantees success. If they changed their inscription I would give it five stars.

Good construction. Complete with everything you need.The instructions were very helpful and easy to understand. I recommend this for anyone wanting to knit hats without having to learn how to knit!

Knifty knitter perfect for hats. This product is never a let down. This particular size is very popular so it's hard to find. I have compared this one to the Boyle brand. Boyle's is slightly smaller by about 1".

This is a replacemt for one i lost. I really like using this to knit with, I have carpel tunnel in both hands & cant use regular needles. its great for learning on,even for kids. And you tube has some excellent videos on projects to do w/ the more complicated stitches including cable stitching. Overall a purchase worth the money.
