Mediterranean Cracked Pepper Crackers (6x4.5 OZ)

NOTE: While I never tried this product, I am giving it a good review for Amazon's and The Mediterranean Snack Company's exemplary customer service. I originally gave Amazon a lousy review because I had put in the search parameters "vegan" and "crackers" and this came up as third on the list. As it turns out, it is not vegan at all. I notified Amazon of this and asked them for a refund. They were great about it and gave me a refund right away. I also suggested that they update their search parameters so they didn't include "vegan." They agreed and said they would update it so "vegan" wasn't applied to this company's non-vegan products. Then, I got an email from The Mediterranean Snack Co. who wanted to know what issues I had with the product, that they had seen that I had gotten a refund. I told them what I said to Amazon and they said they would follow up with Amazon on that. They also informed me that while they didn't have vegan crackers, they did have vegan chips, which I thought was great. I'm definitely going to look for them the next time I go shopping. I also want to say that if I didn't have a vegan diet, I am certain that I would enjoy these crackers very much.I am giving these boxes to a food pantry so they don't get wasted. I'm sure that the needy people who get these crackers will enjoy them.

I love these crackers. Found them in my local Food Lion but they were rather expensive for the amount of product so I visited my handy, dandy amazon.com. These crackers have 16 grams of carbs but 5 grams of protein and are gluten free. The only negative I have had at this point is that the majority of the crackers have not been whole. I've finished/shared three boxes out of the six and would say I would be lucky if I have gotten 18 whole crackers out of any of the three boxes. Hopefully, the last three boxes will provide a few more whole crackers.On the other hand, they are incredibly fresh and crunchy.

Chances are you are purchasing these crackers because you know that you like them already. For those of you who are not sure of these crackers than, like most foods, you're only going to know if you truly like them by actually trying them. Now with that said, these are tasty crackers. This exact flavor variety is my favorite. The sea salt variety is good too. These crackers are light in flavor. That is they don't have an excessive amount of flavoring put into them. I feel like the company that makes these is trying to keep them as simple as possible. Great for salsa's and hummus, maybe a bean dip too. These are pricey crackers for the amount that comes in one little box, but go great with hummus. Extra tid bit of info, this brand of crackers is imported from Greece!

We had these as part of a package on a United flight meal and though they were delightfully different and tasty. So we found them online here and ordered them right away. But we were disappointed that they weren't as good as we enjoyed on the plane. They were smashed more into smaller pieces and the crackers tasted very stale. I am not sure if the batch we got was bad, or at Amazon too long and gone bad, or perhaps we were just too hungry on the plane to notice the stale taste.

These are good crackers to serve with something on them. As a couple of other reviewers said, they do NOT taste/feel like gluten free (a plus), but they are a little bland. Bland can be good, if you want your topping to be the star of the show. They're a great basis for outstanding toppings--cheeses, hummus, dips, oysters. I don't like them by themselves much.

The title references my nephew's most overly used phrase & nicely sums up my opinion of these crackers. The crackers have a slightly bitter after taste. I was able to disguise the taste with heaping amount of hummus. Instead of having some hummus with my crackers, it was more like having some crackers with my hummus. I give the company credit for attempting a gluten-free cracker, but this was a miss for me.

I have enjoyed all the Mediterranean Snack products and assumed these would satisfy as well. To my taster, and those of family members, these crackers are perfectly awful! Amazon does not allow returns on grocery products, so these went in the trash and I recycled the cartons. I will continue to order this brand of crackers in the flavors I like. They are delightfully tasty and satisfying. The next time a new flavor turns up I will order only one box instead of six!

What a disappointment. I could tell as soon as I opened the inner liner... rancid oil is an unmistakable smell.But I still wanted to know what they tasted like. I tried half a cracker and could tell, even beyond the rancidity, that there was little to no flavor.I checked the expiration date and there's still four months before they expire.Into the garbage they will go. I don't eat rancid foods.
