Looks nice on a wall
I found glueing the paper shapes to a sheet of fine sandpaper m before cutting them out makes it easier to mark the fabric

Beautiful when done but not quilting at all.
This kit turns out to be beautiful but I thought it was something different when I ordered it. This kit is just pushing the material into grooves in the padding, not really quilting at all.

Not as easy as I thought
Was not as easy as I thought.It it would be, Did not like having to cut out all of the tiny pieces of paper and fabric. It was hard getting the corners to look good. I ended up using 2 quilt pins with heads that matched the fabric in each corner to stabilize the fabric. I am glad I did not order two of these kits like I originally planned.

Nice but way too much purple
The picture depicts this kit has blue, purple and black in it...well it doesn't. It is just purple purple and more purple. While purple is a nice color it didn't go with anything in my home, good thing my mom is a purple freak.

Gift well received!
Purchased this as a gift for my mother-in-law's birthday. I have a Quilt Magic picture in my house and was looking at them one day online when she exclaimed how much she liked the butterfly. Well, she loved it. And it went together very well and is easy to do.
