NoSalt Sodium-Free Salt Alternative, 11 Oz (Pack of 3)

After developing liver disease, I was put on a VERY sodium restricted diet - the doc said to limit sodium intake to 2000 mg or less per day - the lower the better. He gave me NO potassium restrictions and said I could use this type of salt substitute.I was so used to eating a LOT of salt, and I craved salt. I had originally tried potassium chloride, but was immediately repelled by the taste. Believe it or not, your taste buds become accustomed to this salt and now I enjoy this salt almost as much as I did with sodium salt. Now I use it all the time in sprinkling on food or in cooking.The only problem is that potassium chloride doesn't dissolve well in water - nothing like regular salt. So you have to take that into account when cooking with potassium salt. So, for example, when you want to add "salt" to water before you cook pasta, it doesn't work very well.But otherwise use it as a direct substitute, using the same salt measurements in your recipes.

Both my husband and I have been using NO SALT for years instead of normal table salt. But we found it very hard to find it in our local stores. I was pleased to see it on sale at Amazon. We will continue to use NO SALT in the future and I hope that Amazon will continue to carry it.

Did not like the flavor it gave my food.

Have used NoSalt for years! I like this product better than other salt substitutes I have tried. Prices on Amazon, for this product, are the best I have found.

Product came mashed! " No salt" containers split open! It was all over in shipping package!No replace or return item. Will not purchase again

This product is okay. Im not going to say great. I bought it for my dad who has been put on a low salt diet so I figured this was a great way to at least get some flavor. It does resemble salt. a little finer. taste is not as strong for sure but I guess it still adds a little flavor

Probably the best salt substitute on the market, and most reasonably priced. Please keep it available.

One of the containers was damaged causing a huge mess and the disposal of the broken one. So I only got two out of the three paid for.
