Vegan Stroopwafel

If I could, I would give this 0 stars! This item is listed as “vegan” yet, when we received the item, my daughter, who is allergic to milk and all of its components, read the label and it said that it may contain traces of milk, MILK! If you can’t guarantee it, don’t label it Vegan bc being vegan isn’t always a choice, some have severe allergies! If my daughter had not been careful, this product could have made her very sick!

I used to buy stroopwafels from street vendors all the time when I was living in the Netherlands. Now, they are easily available from Sweet Amsterdam. Their traditional stroopwafel is perfect... crispy cookie with the caramel middle. But, I love the vegan version as well. How did they make it so tasty without eggs and milk?! I've been having it with my black tea for breakfast. And, also great as a snack before a hike or work-out. Highly recommended.

There were two dates, one on packaging and the other on box, the didnt add up nor was anyone helpful on figuring out the actual expiration date. Also, it wasnt vegan friendly at all dispute what they say. I'm allergic to eggs and milk and when I tried it, I had a very bad allergic reaction, swollen tongue and rash. That hasnt happened to me since I was a teenager. My CHILD who can eat eggs and milk enjoyed them. That's why I gave it two stars. I bought a box for my friend who tried them and liked them for their bday. So if u can eat stuff like eggs, milk and etc, they will work for you but if ur like me who cant...just seek something else you know and love.

I was skeptical because these were "vegan" and usually that means "not tasty". In my efforts to find a better stroopwafel I ordered a box of these. To my surprise, the Sweet Amsterdam Vegan Stroopwafels were fresh, delicious, slightly crispy and aren't overly sweet. I stuffed a few into my back pocket for my bicycle ride and they tasted so good on my snack break. They are very balanced and do not leave any wierd aftertaste.I enjoy them so much. They pair nicely with my tea too. I will be sure to ordering more as gifts and share them with my cyclist friends. Yum yum!

This contain traces of milk (and may contain traces of egg per the box). My daughter is allergic to milk and had a strong allergic reaction to this "vegan" version. Very disappointed. The ingredients does include a disclaimer but the box says VEGAN all over the place. Ridiculous and misleading!

There’s supposed to be ten stroopwafels in the box, and there are only nine.Edited to add: Sweet Amsterdam got in touch to address the box being a cookie short. The processed a refund for the mistake which I appreciate. So I’m changing my rating to five stars. The stroopwafels are actually quite good and I will purchase them again.

Good sort of like a THIN wafer soaked in molasses and cinnamon... I misjudged the diameter of them looking at the picture .. So they are ok but I won't buy again.... being diabetic and loving sweets I have to be careful.. Mostly I find Mexican treats are best .

Vegan, non-gmo, organic — makes these Stroopwafels better than all the rest! Forget the rest and have the best. Thanks Sweet Amsterdam! Truly delicious and wholesome.
