Old but still good
Old but still good, much like myself. I had to leave suddenly to help out a sick family member and fortunately I was able to work remotely, but although my old laptop was running Windows 10, it still had a "Windows Vista" sticker on the front. It was also a Dell Latitude, which is more of a business-class model than the Inspiron. My old one had served me well, but was missing a key and would not hold a charge for more than 20 minutes. I needed something portable and powerful enough for work tasks, not gaming or entertainment, I have a desktop computer and a tablet for personal, non-business use. I didn't have a lot to spend, so I was very pleased with the specs on this one which I bought refurbished. The price was fantastic and when I received it, it looked absolutely brand new. It even had that "new electronics" smell. The screen is a bit smaller than my old laptop, but it is much faster because of the I-7 processor, with more memory and disk space. The weight difference was very noticeable. My old one was much much heavier than this one. The E7470 I got has the upgraded touchscreen display which is beautiful, and about 5 hours of continuous runtime on the battery, which I assume us the original refurbished one. I used the laptop to watch an HD movie on the plane and it was crystal clear with no pixelation or stutters during playback. The sound was not great, but I was using cheap earbuds. I have noticed the built-in speakers are kind of "tinny" when playing music or a movie, but they are fine for business use like a zoom call. There is no USB3 port or any kind of disc. That was not important to me. It actually can use the same old Dell E-Dock that came with my old laptop. The biggest advantage to me was the size and weight. It's like a thick magazine and weighs about a pound. So many features in such a small package. I don't think I would buy a big laptop again. This model cannot be upgraded to Windows 11 due to the processor being considered obsolete by Microsoft. I have had very good luck with Dell products in general. I would recommend the E7470 to anyone who wants a solid laptop for general purpose use.

Great little Laptop
Nice light compact laptop. Good Specs Great Price. Booted up, installed updates, and this little laptop is doing its thing. Battery appears to have been replaced during refurb procedure. Laptop was clean and in great physical shape, minor wear on the bottom of the laptop, but only very superficial. The laptop smelled of sanitizer when i pulled it from the more than adequate packaging. It dissipated quickly, and it was reassuring that the refurbish-er did their due diligence before shipping the product. It is not often I am in the market for a refurb laptop, but this reseller was easy to deal with and product is great.

Bad refurbish job.
The media could not be loaded. Laptop is basically unusable. It about 10 minutes to boot to the login screen and each click is 30-45 seconds per click to respond.I bought for an employee, and they didn't let me know when it started happening right away so I was about 10 days out of the return policy with the seller, who told me that he couldn't help me. Don't buy from VR Laptop

Incredible Value!
I bought this laptop for one use: astrophotography. I decided to try using a dedicated astrophotography camera—Player One Uranus-C—with my Celestron C6 telescope to photography Saturn and Jupiter this summer and fall. But to do that, a Windows laptop was required because dedicated astrophotography cameras are operated with Windows computers via USB connections while the photography is underway. Given this would be the computer’s sole use—we are a completely Mac household and have been for a long time—I didn’t want to make a large investment in a Windows laptop whose sole use would be for this type of astrophotography, so I explored the reconditioned market and found this laptop on Amazon. It arrived promptly and was very well-packed. Indeed, I don’t see how it could have been packed any better. And it has worked flawlessly! See the attached photo of Saturn I got early in the morning of August 18. I couldn’t be any happier with the purchase of this laptop computer.
