Amhousejoy Petcock Fuel Tank Switch Valve Fit for Yamaha YZ 80 85 250 400 426 450 1998-2003

I didn't read reviews but a few are correct. The valve fitting is a bit smaller than the carb fitting. I had to use screw type hose clamps instead of the factory hose clamps to stop the leaking.It also sits a bit lower from the tank causing the fitting to almost be touching the carb. With a little wiggling I was able to make it happen so happy with it for todays ride.

I purchase this item for a 2003 YZ250R. I made the mistake of not replacing it right away. When going to change the part I noticed the Gas line is not correct, but much smaller and would require some kind of reducer to make it work. I missed my return date, wanted to share for anyone else that might be purchasing. This would be my fault for not better inspecting it when it first arrived.

The parts fit fine with the exception of having a smaller fuel line adapter. 1/4”vs3/8” my problem is that it came without a new gasket/O-ring. Therefore as you can imagine, it leaked rendering it useless. Product itself seems to be just fine.
