I replaced my chain wheel with a smaller one for more gear reduction and needed to fill the gap between it and the chain guard. This was the perfect solution.

It helps keep grease off my pants. My bike didn't have a chain guard to keep my pants leg from getting grease stains every ride. I put this on the outside of the chain ring and used a screwdriver to bend outward so the outer ring on this chainring guard spins in a plane out past my front derailleur. Although I bought 2 sizes with the same order, the one size I predicted would work for me did. As a bonus, the way I installed it and bent it out, it now serves to help prevent the chain from jumping outside chainring when switching up to the highest gear, which still sometimes happened even though I tuned the screws that control the derailleur. Drawback: I took the bike out to where rocks were and this chainring guard does not advertise itself or price itself as a "Bash Guard". The rocks bent the guard easily. I knew with the name and price that I was purchasing protection for my pant legs not against rocks, so I will maintain the 5 star review.

Really good looking. Solid piece of aluminum. Did not fit on my crank at all. Just a bit too small. Holes didn't match up. Real shame. I really wanted this to work. I have Shimano FC-TY501.

Take note, this is a chainring guard so it's in addition to the existing chainring on the bike. With that, the bolts are too small for the guard. I had to buy longer chainring bolts separately to be able to use it which cause some delay in my setup.

Light and good looking Chainguard. Also strong, Easy to install and it comes with the hardware for the installation. Purchased two of these and they are doing the job and holding up pretty well.

The product arrived as advertised. In order to adapt the chain guard to the crank, I flipped the chain ring to the inside of the crank arm and the guard to the outside of the crank. Doing so I was able to get enough chain clearance to make it work without washers. It’s pictured. My only complaint is that the chain guard isn’t red enough for my taste, I might repaint it to match the bike’s orangy-red accent paint.

I don't know if I was supposed to get screws with this, but none were received.

Buen bash para que no se manchen los pantalones. Se fija sin problemas, compré el de 40-42t aunque traigo un narrow-wide de 38t instalado en la multi para que cubriera mejor
