So I decided to mix things up a little with the lavender. I normally use Epsom salts to aid my gym recovery. And it works. And im addicted. And I go through them like my brother goes through partners. Apart from my addiction is a little more healthier.So as i mentioned I thought I would try something different and get an extra bit of lavender to add a nice smell to my bath and who knows the lavender may even aid my recovery. I was very much intrigued. And I do like to try new things.So, I mixed some into my bath and it has a decent smell of lavender. Nothing that would knock me out the park. But it is a nice subtle smell. Which is nice. And I would buy again if I could find a bulk buy. I didn't notice anything unusual with my recovery. I mean the normal Epsom salts work very well for me. This was just a little treat.The salts also dissolve at the right pace. So while it mixes with the water will. You still feel parts of the salts when jumping into the bath. Which I enjoy. This could also be because I use a lot as well.They are Epsom salts that are meant to be good for you. Nicely packaged. No issues at all.

After 20 years of using various brands of Epsom Salts, I would have to say these are the best.The quality of the salt is superb, you can really feel the difference to other brands which can be a bit abrasive and even sting your skin. These feel smoother and ease any discomfort more effectively. It's a more pleasant sensation.The salts have a slight aroma when in the bag but this disappears once in the water. Epsom Salt crystals seem to vary in texture quite a bit, but these aren't too large or too smooth. They pour easily into a cup for use in the bath without any mess.I struggle with the size of the 5kg bags - being used to individual 1kg or 1.5kg over the years, and it's not obvious how to best open the seal as the plastic handle is quite cumbersome. The packaging is made of plastic that doesn't look like it would easily rip or tear, so less chance of split bags spilling salt everywhere as has happened to me in the past with clear, thinner bags.Also, having got so used to working out how often I need to re-order the 10x 1kg bags I had used for some time, I haven't yet got into a routine where I avoid running out before the next subscription comes (every 2 weeks is the most frequent option available, but 5kg only lasts me 11-12 days, so you see my problem!). I just order in extra bags every now and then.It's not cheap but it's not as expensive as you find in the supermarkets either. Given the quality, it is worth the price.

Fragrance was ok

This product is very good, it melts well in hot water and the smell is quite nice - although hasn’t got that pure essential oil aromatherapy scent but does smell pleasant. Great for relieving aching muscles.
