Good content but the data is not updated.The books seems to be written not for the layman like that of the writings of Sanjoy Hazarika.Its more of a scholarly work relating to political and demographic account of Assam since British period to late 1990s.The books catches speed only from the third chapter.The first chapter is heavily tilted towards research methodology words in Sociology which are difficult to grasp.The author needs updating the facts and figures .
