Rugged, very good calibration straight out of the box
This was connected up to a scale head, and attached just above the lifting hook of an A frame type engine hoist, using a pair of eyebolts that fit the cell.It works well to transform an ordinary engine hoist, block and tackle, or "come-along" cable puller into a surprisingly economical precision weight or force measurement tool. Whether you are loading up a large bale of hay, or pulling the engine out of a vintage project car and want to know exactly what the long block weighs, or build this into some other kind of portable scale, this when paired with a scale head can tell you the answer in seconds. It has been used in both blistering heat and bitter cold, and it appears to be well within my accuracy requirements at both ends of these extremes. It has proven to be very handy when loading a flatbed trailer to directly measure tongue weight to help calculate the weight and balance during pre-trip for safe loading. I also used it on a tilt-up radio tower to check for peak dynamic loads during a raise and lower cycle to be sure the winch, cable, and pulleys were sized. With a known mv/v output at full scaleI think it is fully sealed, but so far I have not intentionally use it in heavy rain or in any immersed application. When I get the loading crane for the truck, I found some low profile bolts and hook to replace the stock hook with another of these, to be able to weigh anything being loaded or unloaded with high accuracy (using a properly calibrated control or scale head with this of course)

Well made
Works well, sturdy design, reasonable price. It would be nice if they shared a calibration chart

Works just as it should.
Standard 350ohm bridge. Good repeatable readings.

Works perfectly with common HX711 amplifier
If you have experience with 10kg bar loadcells, this is an easy loadcell to transition to for higher weights. It has much longer cables, good for when you need to keep the control unit further away. I found that it is slightly less accurate than my 50kg bar loadcell, but I run it at 80Hz so that shouldn't be a problem for most.

Calibration value appears to be 10000 when using an HX711
Great price and quality. I tested against my food scale and got within 0.01 lbs. After testing with an HX711 and Arduino, I believe the calibration value is 10,000.

Excellent S-Type Force Sensor
Extremely well built, plenty of lead wires that are well strain reliefed and heavier gauge than those lower cost bar type force sensors. Works great with the HX711 ADC converter board and even at 5Vdc,

This one works
Have tried several from Amazon and this one works in both tension and compression and has decent linearity for a rocket test stand.

Seems to be heavy duty, but how do you attach with M18 female threads?
I had to have custom adapters machined in order to use this load cell. It comes with female M18 threads which are extremely uncommon in the US. I found attachments for M16 and M20, but nothing at a near reasonable cost for M18's. Just keep that in mind if you buy the 3T version.

Excellent product
The wires are of good size. The finish of the sensor is perfect. The precision is accurate. This is an excellent product.
