Met my expectations

There were 4 bulbs in the 'pack', as ordered. 3 of the bulbs were okay, but one bulb had the bottom disconnected from it when I opened the box. Since the box held the bulb securely in place, it seems as though the bulb was defective from the time it was made and packaged into the box. I needed the other 3 bulbs in place on this day and couldn't wait to get new bulbs. I didn't have time to return the 4 bulbs and wait for 4 new bulbs to arrive. Hence, I didn't return the order for a replacement; couldn't return only 1 bulb, so I discarded the defective bulb (in the [proper hazardous waste receptable, of course).I made a product review and contacted the seller about the bulb and why I had rated it low. Customer service responded right away and replaced the defective bulb.I've edited this review to show that this seller is responsive and concerned about their product being reliable and good. They were helpful and never questioned me about my review or description of my experience. Based on the good customer service I would buy from this seller again. The replacement bulb was perfect, as were the other bulbs in the order.

My chickens decided to roost in the outdoor run last winter, so for this year I needed to add a light outdoors to keep up egg production.This bulb is highly efficient, and provides exactly the amount of light I wanted in the chicken run - 400 to 500 lumens of 6500K light. (For simplicity: 40-50 watt equivalent, "daylight" bulb")

Listed as 22.8 yr life with 3yr warranty. After less than 6mon 2 of 4 already burnt out!!
