Works as described. Heavier than I expected. Hand washing might be an issue as it's heavy. I feel like it makes me hot so I only use it when it's cold. Cotton material. Not a soft and fluffy blanket. Seems durable. Overall a good purchase.

This thing feels like a brick when you’re lifting it for the first few times (I would wake up in the middle of the night because I couldn’t move my legs), but after a week it’s got easier (thank goodness). I do feel like it’s comforting when I have an anxiety attack, it helps me feel grounded and secure.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my sister-in-law at her request. She has been admiring it and really wanted one. She is so pleased and so am I!

Shipped this to my college aged son who doesn’t normally have trouble sleeping, but experiencing a little bit of anxiety with graduation looming and applying to grad school. He asked for one. He called me and commented on how large it was and that it felt amazing. Plus, the price couldn’t be beat online. I screwed up the address when I put it in and contacted the seller and they were able to take care of it right away.

We purchased the 15 pnd blanket for my son who weights 115 pnd for sensory needs. Blanket worked great. Help calmed in half the time when having a meltdown. Felt less anxiety and anxious. Worth the price for sure. It is heavy to move around but provides pressure that helps.

Ended up with the twin/15lb size and it's a great size for a small adult woman. When the beads shift they cascade through the blanket like a rain stick, which is a fun surprise. The weight is good, the feel is good, but I do have a cotton waffle blanket underneath both to protect the weighted blanket and to improve the breath-ability.

The 1st time I used this. I slept without moving for 2 solid hours. I was a premature baby and spent my first 6 mos. in an incubator(sp) My sleep has always been restless. This certainly helps with that. And my 2 cats also love to sleep on it. The crunchiness under their paws. Very good purchase. Thank you so much.
