Don't expect a perfect round ice ball
Works ok but messy. And they have a golf ball texture and about that size too.

These are fun to have, especially if you have a golfer in the family. Fill them with a small siphon. My husband puts a certain in the middle of some of the cubes he makes for our manhattens fans.
