Main crash.
Brilliant, glossy, good looking cymbal. Went from their A custom to K custom offering a good punch, punctuation as a focused finish, main cymbal. Tone is really good. Although a fast crash, it opens up in sound and tone before it diminishes.

Nice rich sound
Very colorful sound with lots of character. It's on the darker side tonality which I like.

Great sound
Seemed like this came polished with out the original coating these come with. Cymbal sounds fine. Skeptics if it was used

listen and learn
Excellent cymbal with quick sound. Very nice all around action. A little more money gets you a brilliant cymbal like this. If you can afford it, go with the K Custom series andforget the highly inferior classes. Really, you are only spending an extra 50 dollars for excellence. Just wait and save for the upgrade. No one forgives cheap cymbals, so just go with Custom K class cymbals. A Customs are good, but way thin. I cracked all of my A Customs. They sound great, but are just too thin.5 stars for the K Custom Fast Crash series of cymbals. Excellent.

Good sound but not what I was looking for.
Nice fast decay, good response, and on the quieter side.I have the 18" fast crash which is one of my favorite cymbals. Why not get the 17" then? So I did, but the tone is way higher, the projection is significantly lower. It sounds like a splash when the band is playing, compared to the 18" which sounds like the best crash ever.Comparing the two, the bell on the 17 is MUCH smaller and less raised. You can see it in the pictures if you look closely. I'm not sure why the cymbal isn't just a smaller copy of the 18", but there you have it. Now I have to get a different crash and move this one into a splash position.

Buy it
I'd give this cymbal 6 stars if I could. Beautiful tone, opens up at soft or loud levels, complex wash, and quick decay. Perfect. Keep in mind that the smaller versions of this cymbal have a different bell design and respond more like splashes than crashes. The 18" however is the ****.

... bought some years ago (11) but this is a great match for those cymbals
The bell is larger than the 16" and 17" fast crashes that I bought some years ago (11) but this is a great match for those cymbals. They look and sound great as a trio of cymbals. I couldn't be happier.

Nice!
Very nice mellow medium tone with a fairly fast fade. Not as high pitched as you can hear on the audio sample available at the Zildjian.com site. Goes well with my 16" Zildjian K dark thin crash. Fast safe shipping. Enjoy!

Worth the money!!!
I had been looking for a fast crash for a while. The crashes I have are just too loud and resonate for too long to be played hard in small gig venues (pubs etc), and even in practice I didn't feel like I could play with full intensity. So I ordered this (on offer at the time for £150 - absolute bargain). When I first set it up on a stand and tapped away at it, before the band had set up for practice, I wasn't convinced - a little disappointed even. But as soon as I was playing properly with the full kit, and with the band, it completely came into its own. It just seems to 'fit', pretty much with anything we play. So versatile. Allows you to accent without overwhelming the rest of the band, or even the rest of your kit. Light and fast but not without character, and with enough volume. I'm now saving for the 16" version.....

Good symbol and poor packaging
Cymbal is good as expected. Its zildjian, it has to be good. Amazon did a shoddy job . The packing was piss poor and its not acceptable for a musical instrument.. so am giving only two stars 🌟 🌟..
