Not suitable for my mother.
Item bought as my mother was getting pain on her heel when in bed after a hip operation. This product raised her heel to the correct height but after a while the leg rest also gave her pain. This was due to a skin condition post operation , the plastic foam of the leg rest and the hot weather. We have had to revert back to a rolled up blanket. Not a product fault just something else to consider when selecting an aid.

Wasn't suitable for me in the end - foam bit too thick and hard
I bought this to avoid heal sores I was getting while sleeping on my back (to avoid stomach acid problems at night).Unfortunately, I never ended up using it. I really liked the idea of this type of foam support, rather than the ones that wrap all around your foot, as I wanted to be able to get up in the middle of the night and walk with my feet un-obstructed.However, when I put it on, I immediately noticed two problems:(1) The foam is a bit too thick for me, which meant that the lower half of my leg ended up in the air and not supported by the bed. Apart from feeling a bit odd, it meant that the weight of a bit too much of my leg was supported by the foam. This lead onto the second problem:(2) The foam is quite stiff, so it didn't cushion the weight of my leg as well as I would have liked, as it didn't compress very much.As a result of the above, after a short while, I found that the part of my leg where the foam was (just above the ankle) was starting to get uncomfortable with the weight on it. In the end, I felt I'd end up swapping a heal sore for a calf sore, so it ended up in a cupboard and I never slept with it.Perhaps it would suit someone else with a different build (I'm on the thin side), but it wasn't for me.

Absolutely Useless.
Don't waste your money. It arrived yesterday and I couldn't wait to use it last night.Put it on, got myself comfortable and then within minutes, it worked it's way round and it fell off. I tried 3 times and then gave up.I definitely wouldn't recommend it and it's definitely not worth the money. Go elsewhere, as I will be doing, and get a support with Velcro closure straps.
