Wave Wall Mounted Cat Perch, Large

This is a beautiful perch, I hate to even call it a perch...it is more like a work of art! I don't think I've seen such a well made product in years. The wood is so pretty, it's rich dark brown but with little hints of a softer brown. The shape of the perch is so soothing, calming, like the waves at the beach. I was looking for a perch for my kitten and was just about to order one when thank goodness I ran across these fantastic waves ! I ordered two of the large and one small and I now have, what looks like artwork, an arrangement of these beautiful sculpted waves of wood. It is so nice to be able to put up something for my kitten that she loves and will use her entire life, and I get to enjoy the artwork on my livingroom wall. I can't say that I have ever seen any pet items that don't look like "pet" items....till now. I'm so happy to be able to have something that she can climb on, sit and look at the birds from, or just take a cat nap on and it doesn't look like my cat runs my life :). I can't say enough about this product.....WORTH EVERY PENNY !

Great product -- though pricey, it's a very sturdy unit when mounted into the wall studs. Looks great on the wall and our cat loves it. The only negative is the felt padding/surface. It's not very durable and is already fraying from our cat's nails. Looks easy enough to replace, though, with a more durable covering.

I ordered this and the matching small perch. I love the small perch it is gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. The big perch is really nice too, however the packaging was a problem. The packaging is inadequate to protect this product, it ends up getting damaged on the upper right corner. I got two replacements from Amazon and both had the exact same damage to the exact same place as the original. Other than the damage, this is a great product, it just needs better packaging to protect it during shipment. I will absolutely buy another one when they fix the packaging problem.

These look cool, but neither of my cats would go on them. I've had them for 6+ months, still no cats on them.

The product is aesthetically pleasing and makes for an interesting wall decoration. Unfortunately the shelf has little to no traction for your cat to jump up onto it without slipping off to an inevitable plummet to the floor. I am disappointed in this product and find that it is useless for cats and serves only as wall decoration and a conversation piece. Unfortunately the conversation usually starts with "why is it so slippery". The pads for "traction" that are on the shelf immediately become unglued upon installation of the shelf. I am unsure what type of adhesive was used but it is completely useless. Immediately after installing a few of these on my wall, I was shocked to find ALL of the friction pads curling up and detaching from the shelf. I had to purchase crazy glue to secure them. Unfortunately, they are still useless. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT.

Our cats love playing and sleeping on these perches. We ordered 2 wave perches and 6 smaller perches for our family room. Installation is easy with the included hardware and leveling guide but its best to do a little prep work first. For our installation (see pictures), I first marked all the studs on our walls with blue masking tape because you need to make sure and drive the perch screws into the studs. Since we were installing so many perches I cut out templates of the perches and moved them around on the wall until we found a configuration that we liked and also had the right spacing within the existing wall studs. Then we installed the shelves using the leveling guide included with the perch shelves. These perches are solidly built and the felt padding is thick. They are an elegant way of creating a play/resting area for your cats.

These cat shelves are really cool. It took a while for my kitties to understand that this was for them, however, after putting some treats on them and putting them up myself they finally got the hint. Now I see them on it all the time; the higher the shelf the better. I would have given this 5 stars except for the following two issues: price and size...both of them are really large. The size of the shelf is really big so if you have a small room it'll probably look strange. Also they stick out from the wall very far so you can't put them right above the couch if your couch is against the wall (like ours) or else you'll hit your head on them. Also, the price is very high..I'm not sure what they can do about it but if they could make them less expensive that'd be my preference. :)

Although its expensive, it is a very nice piece of furniture. Its very heavy and nicely made. It comes with all the screws you need to install it and a actual size printout to help you place it on your wall. It looks pretty good in my living room. Cats don't love it yet but they have sat on it a bunch of times. They just like the window more when its warm out. I wasn't sure if I should get this one or the smaller one. I do like the look of this one better but I think the size of the smaller one would be enough. this thing bigger than you think.Measure your space before purchasing!
