This is a great product. Made sturdy, easy to clean and assemble. My bird loved it with his apples and broccoli on it. Would recommend to anyone. I would buy again.

I bought the shorter product to hang fresh treats in my 2 parakeet cages. I felt the longer one would be more suitable for larger birds like a cockatoo or parrot. Parakeets/budgies love to nibble and pick at things. This treat holder allows them to do that with healthy things like apple chunks, broccoli spears, baby carrots, etc. Very easy to use: unscrew the bottom piece, take off the washer, "stab" into a few chunks of food, put the washer back on, put the bottom screw back on. I learned quickly that if you leave it in the cage overnight, and you have curious birds, they will spin the screw at the bottom until it falls off. Not actually a problem as long as you can find the screw and the washer when you see they are missing. Once this happens, you'll be sure to screw it up a bit higher the next time. They are easy to clean and the price is great. I modified mine to make them more convenient to use: I replaced the top "screwing hook" with a carabiner hook because trying to hold the hook in place with one hand and twist up the screw piece to secure it to the top of the cage with the other hand took too long. Plus, my 2 cages are huge, and contorting myself to place the treat hanger in the ideal spot wasn't something I wanted to continue doing. The carabiner replacing the hook it came with made this product absolutely perfect because I can hang it quickly with one hand and I can retrieve it just as fast and easily. Birds don't like their space invaded so easy-in/easy-out is the way to go. I will definitely purchase more because 7 parakeets don't like to share. I highly recommend these!!

I use this for my budgies, fresh fruit.

The product serves a purpose but the screw threading is a little excessive and takes more time to unscrew it at the bottom. Also, the shorter food holders one would have been better suited but I never received it in my order. I should have received two, the larger one food holder is way too long.with this order but I only received the long one. False advertisement! You don’t get two food holders,

These are always great for birds and other small animals. I use them for my cockatiels and pet rats. Any small animal would love these. Make a kabob of healthy veggies and fruits. Always make sure to only feed foods that are healthy and SAFE for whatever animal or bird you use it for. All animals have different foods that are toxic to them.

The screw at the bottom the shaft he's very small and easy to lose. Its of a diameter that I don't think one can we place in a hardware store because it is not a wing nut. It would be much better if they had a metal washer and a wing nut. My friend bought one of these for her parrot and she has already lost the screw for the bottom which holds the fruit etc from falling off. Now she cannot use it anymore so she has wasted her money. I have almost lost my and also find it hard to use because I have numbness in my fingers so it is very easy to fall through my fingers. If they could change that it is a good product otherwise I would not recommend it.

The media could not be loaded.  I really like this item it’s not too big and not too small. I use it for my parakeets cage which is round. It’s easy to attach, clean, and add fruit on. I haven’t had any issues with using it so far and my birds have eaten apples off of it no problem. Super happy with this product!It has 4 pieces total, the hanging hook, the pole, the disk and then the end screw. All super easy to clean and assemble.

1. It is not stainless steel. It is iron.2. The base part of it is made of plastic.Item does nit matches the picture shown of the product on Amazon. Amazon should delist this item. 300 for a piece of iron and plastic. Pathetic.

The actual product is nothing like whats shown in the images. Many other reviews has also mentioned that with pictures. They are giving plastic items while claiming stainless steel in images and description. While I am okay with the product but I feel cheated. This kind of seller should not be allowed on Amazon.

It's iron & plastic sadly, really as in pictures thought it contains 2 bars, after ordering I realised it's only one.

The stainless steel quality needs to be high as this is something you will wash atleast once a day.I have just bought yesterday but high quality needed.It goes black when in contact with food/water n I have to clean everyday with pitambari.And the screws give some extra it's very easy to get lost somewhere n also gel lose over time.I would prefer a brass one for my birddies LOL

It helped me to introduce new food like corn and veggies for my tiny budgies.They loved eating from this holder.The entire product i rcvd is made of steel and i guess the circular bottom plate is of iron metal.Its price is on higher side but overall happy
