10mm Acrylic gem Jewelry Pirate Treasure Hunting Party Gift (80 PCS)

Amazon deserves part of the blame as I was linked to these gems when I went to reorder the large gems I had ordered previously. (They were out of stock at the original company) Anyway, these gems are really tiny, about 1/8th the size of the ones I ordered before. The are certainly misrepresented here and would not be any kind of "pirate treasure hunt" or party favor unless for mice. Yes, I'm a dumb American who should have picked up on the 10MM at the front end but the metric system does not work well in my brain and again I was linked to these off my previous order. They are marketed as the larger gems are and the price is WAY too much for the little wrinkled bag I received. These should be marketed as being used for making costume jewelry, not scavenger hunt items. You would need about 100 bags of these to make a pirate treasure chest (over $1,000 worth so it would be treasure). You get 2 stars because this is partly because the 10MM was lost in the fray of gemstone pictures, but definitely overpriced and deceptively promoted.

They’re much smaller then they show on the picture. I’m fine with that but I might’ve ordered something different had I known how small they are. They’re about the size of a nail or a thumbtack. Also, doesn’t come with all the colors it shows.

I have been looking for acrylic gems to just play with, the quality on these I have found to be just what I hoped for. They are about the size of a dime in diameter, a good weight, and bright in color. They are not simple light weight plastic.

FYI these are 10mm, picture is misleading in size but makes up for it in quality! I am using these for pirate treasure hunt party decorations. Small but added to other gems and coins looks great.

These little gems are very pretty but they are so small! I didn't take the time to read the reviews so that's on me. They are very nice though, and work for my purposes.

Beautiful little gems! Very sparkly and vibrant. The best faux gems I’ve gotten yet! Perfect for my son’s treasure hunting party. They are on the smaller side but were perfect for lots of little treasure chests!
