Introducing Psychology: A Graphic Guide Paperback – September 6, 2007

I have to leave a review for my first psychology based book! It was quite an easy read alongside a little google searching, lol. It is a great book for newbies who are also interested in the topic of psychology. It helped me understand what psychology is and how psychology can be used in everyday life in various fields of life! It breaks down the main points surrounding the topic "Psychology." Short but insightful, and right to the point, book. I recommend the read, You have to start somewhere...(The pictures are a great add-on to)

A good introduction to the fundamental concepts and notable people of psychology. Some concepts and persons are given short shrift to accommodate the briefness of the book. This includes the structure of the brain and nervous system, a major part of the biological and structural schools of psychology. It is a fast read and should help students preparing for an introductory class.Note: After only a few weeks the book has begun to fall apart. The binding has begun to fail and pages are coming loose.

I recomend this book to everybody : parents, teachers. Students, etc.I like the readibility of these Pages.Anyone like me could learn a lot from it.

Good not great quick guide to psychology as a profession. Most of the content is threadbare and sparse on detail and no I testing topics or problems are actually discussed.

Approachable, informative, accessible. I was most impressed by the simple explanations of complex theories. Definitely worth a read if you are interested in psychology.

I really appreciated the applications for psych that I had not thought about and differences between British profession and the American. The explanations of the theories were too succinct and rushed. Timeline was confusing. Sometimes the students received more credit than their better known teachers, eg. Wundt etc. Evolutionary psych was better.

This is the first psychology book I have ever read. This was a good place to start. I like these graphic guide books. You can get more familiar with any subject with these booksP

Quick summaries for everything. This book give a general outlook on what to expect when are looking into the field of psychology. I will reread it in a few weeks after I am done with a couple more books. Take notes!!!!
