CS-201 Heavy Duty Long Handled Safety Razor with 10 Dorco Double Edge Razor Blades

Pros: I love the way this razor looks and feels. The handle is comfortable in the hand, and the head is smooth and decently heavy. The chroming is smooth and without defect, and the metal seems solid.Cons: Loaded with a brand new Feather blade, this is possibly the least smooth shave I've gotten since I left multi-blade razors. The gap under the blade and to the bottom of the head is huge, and the only way I was able to even get half a shave was to have the head at a very precise angle, from which there was no forgiveness. That gap left a lot of room for an imperfect edge, which is did. Even at that angle, the shave was poor and left a lot to be desired. The balance of the handle with the head is not that great, as the center of balance is handle-heavy. The head just isn't heavy enough compared to the handle to have a balanced shave.Overall: If the handle and head weren't so beautiful and well-made, I would have only given it one star. The shave was not good, which is the whole purpose of the product, hence my rating.
