Impressed
Received this grill about a week ago and have been testing it out ever since. To start off, it is light weight and while the cook top is smaller than I anticipated, it handles a fair amount of grill able items. It cools off very fast, within minutes it is cool enough to move with bare hands. The cook time is longer as you are not directly on the heat source. It claims to be a smokeless grill and so far has lived up to that claim. Very little residual vapor from cooking and cleans up well. It is recommended that you wipe a thin coat of oil to assist in maintaining the non-stick surface. While I does cook through meats of various thickness, it would take quite some time to cook the meat shown in the advertisement picture. I find cutting thicker pieces it half help drive the cook time down. But if you are not in a hurry and enjoy cooking ... This is a great addition for grilling indoors.

A little disappointed
A little disappointed in this item. We grilled some fish on it and the fish wouldn't get crisp on the outside which is the way we prefer it. Plus it seemed to take longer than any other way we do the fish such as skillet, BBQ bake etc. We were going to return it but decided with the shipping cost it wouldn't pay us to send it back so we kept it.

but definitely doesn't seem like it's from the same company
Not sure yet how it works. I bought it as a gift. But the box said "Home and Kitchen", not "Grill It".Product looked the same, but definitely doesn't seem like it's from the same company. I kept itand thought I'd see how well it works for my friend.

Not satisfied with the product description
I thought I ordered th Grill It stovetop smokeless grill when in fact I received a Kitchen + Home grill. False advertising in my opinion. Why would you show us the product that is for sale and the ship of the generic fake version. Not satisfied with the product description.

Harder to clean than I anticipated.
I like it very much. I add some liquid smoke to the water ring to give it a little more of that 'grill' taste. My only issue that that it's not very easy to clean. No matter how much non-stick spray I use, I'm always spending a lot of time scrubbing it down after the fact. But, for the most part, I'm happy with it.

Worth it.
So far, I've grilled hamburgers, salmon burgers, and turkey burgers on this thing. It works very well. You simply fill the drip area with water (or beer/wine/whatever liquid you want, really), pop the non-stick top on, and put it over a stove burner.I decided to test this for everyone so you don't have to... It heats up VERY quickly. Do not touch the cooking portion with your finger to test if it's hot or not. Chances are, it's hot. After it's heated, just throw your food on and you're grilling. It is pretty smokeless, as the description says. I made some really great hamburgers on it, so I'm satisfied.Cleaning is very easy. I have yet to have any drippings/juice/fat/whatever get on my stove. The drip area seems to catch everything.Worth it if you can't afford/don't have the room for an outdoor grill. Very satisfied.

Too bad I can't leave zero stars
Too bad I can't leave zero stars! This is a very cheaply made, tinny item that does not appear likely to hold up. The coating on the piece where the food is placed will begin to chip with the first use. I requested a return because the quality is not as described, and they want me to pay the return postage. I will eventually do so, but I am pretty ticked off that I have to pay to return this inferior product. The picture shows a nicely boxed product with a brand name on it. The item actually arrives in a Priority Mail box wrapped in bubble wrap - no box, no brand name, no instructions. Description says the "flavor ring" will catch all the drippings. No, it won't. The food you're "grilling" sits over an open hole - it's going to drip right down onto your burner!Don't buy.
