Avari Heat Dry Premium Toothbrush Sanitizer, Germ Free Sterilizer for Toothbrush and Razor Hygiene, with Stand, Wall Mount, AC Adapter and Toothpaste Holder (Champagne)

This Avari Dual UV Sterilizer is aesthetically very sleek and pleasing to the eye. It’s an gorgeous accessory to the bathroom in its Champagne Gold color. The material is much more durable than my Cybersonic 7 toothbrush Sterilizer (which somehow ended up going to my older brother/his family’s use).Avari out performs my previous sterilizer due to its: Drying function, removable wire rack for easy cleaning (if needed), secure magnetic door closure, and soft 1 sec chime that indicates door closed/oral device sterilization in effect.I had no use for the razor prong space, so I modified the rubber piece (that came hooked to it) by cutting it in half to narrow the space to hang my floss base attachment piece. I also had no use for the base stand due to lack of sink/counter space. Instead of the attaching the mount directly (which comes pre-installed with a palm size 3M foam adhesive), I use two 3M Command hook adhesive strips and applied it to the back of the mount backing (for easier future removal purposes).Thus far, it has performed according to its function/purpose (used since 10/07/18). My only wish is that it came with option to select whether you prefer a wire rack with or without the razor space.

I ordered the Champagne Color, and it is a beautiful and elegant addition to my bathroom. Plus, it gives me piece of mind to sterilize toothbrushes between uses, especially as flu season approaches. The manufacturer packed the item very securely for shipping. I've used it now for a few weeks and everything is running smoothly & quietly. The unit will hold 4 toothbrushes and a razor, or without the razor, 6 toothbrushes. I've actually hung my mouthguard on the razor hooks and that worked great for sterilizing it. The only 2 negatives I've encountered are these: 1) The machine runs continuously as it goes through the various cycles of sanitizing and drying (which is a good thing if there are multiple users). Since I'm the only one using it, I wish there was an On-Off Switch, rather than having to unplug when the process is complete. I would prefer sanitizing all of my toothbrushes at once and then wait until I was ready to run them through the process again. This isn't a huge deal, just a tad annoying to plug and un-plug. 2) The User Manual states that "Anions are emitted during the UV sterilization but that the User can turn this function on or off on Model AV-TS2000 (which is my unit) by pressing the switch on the back. I've looked all over the back but there is no switch. For the 2 reasons above, I'm deducting a star but overall it's a lovely unit that seems well designed and built. FYI, the appliance is distributed by a USA company but is manufactured in Korea.

This is such garbage!1) It literally never turns off it finishes a cleaning/drying cycle and then starts over again2) the instructions are impossible to understand & inaccurateGoing to try return this hopefully i can still get a refund

First off we loved this at first it did what it says but after just a few months of use the door broke off. I'm very disappointed, this was an expensive toothbrush holder and to only get a few months out of it was upsetting.

We are extremely happy with this item. It's larger than we anticipated and is very slim and modern. The sanitizer has 10 minutes of UV exposure, and when you open or close the unit it "sings" - that's not as annoying as we anticipated. There's a place inside the unit for a razor, too.Basically we feel that after researching and, in some cases, trying out other toothbrush sanitizers, we've purchased the mercedes of Toothbruch Sanitizers/Sterilizers, and we are extremely happy with it.

I’ve had this for 3 months and Its hard to tell if it really does what its suppose to do. It not an attractive looking product. It sticks out like a sore thumb in my bathroom. It feels flimsy and cheaply made. I would not recommend.

I haven't gotten Corona yet and my toothbrush doesn't smell so I'd say it works as well as I would like it to.

Outer clear plastic cover on the door keeps coming off.
