Cellay USB C Adapter, 7 in 1 3 Type-C Hub with HDMI, SD/TF Card Reader, 2 USB 3.1 Ports, 2 USB 3.0 Ports, for 2016/2017 MacBook Pro 13” and 15”

This one is not bad. At first it didn't work, then I saw in the description it was for 2016-17 Macbook Pro (I have the 2018 model). However, it worked just fine after I reconnected it just in case. It charges and transfers files just fine. I didn't have problem with transferring large files files. I haven't had the chance to check the HDMI yet. The reason why I give 4 stars is that the connecters that connect this to the laptop are bit too long. It doesn't snuggly fit in the socket. As you can see in the picture, there is a space between the laptop and the adaptor. So, when you connect your USB, you kinda need to hold the adapter or else the top connecter will slip out slightly. The color is not exactly space gray. It has blue tint to it but not that off. Little thicker than the laptop, but I'm not bothered. It's not like I'm going to have this thing attached to my laptop everywhere I go. For $15, I think this seems to be a good adaptor, will try to update my review in a couple of months. 'till then, crossing my fingers it doesn't break down on me.

I bout this hub for 2017 MBP non TB. Build material seems good for the price. And it has all the ports that's missing from the Macbook pro. I've tested all the ports and it works for the most part. Here are some things that I don't like about it.1. hub doesn't go all the way into the usb port. So there is a big gap and it doesn't feel sturdy.2. 2nd USB C port doesn't allow connection to external monitor using HDMI to USB C port. So you can only use your HDMI port, which works fine.3. It would have been perfect if microusb would go deeper into the port. About half of the card sticks out.If you can live with these issues, it's definitely worth the price.

This adaptor performs exactly as promised, all elements-- mini- and regular-photocard readers, the three USB ports, all great.The short cord is perfect. The design is great and has a nice feel to it with the slightly textured surface. Nice blue glow when in use, illuminating the ports well enough to plug items in when darkness falls. Its small so it doesnt take up much room on my desk.This is exactly what I needed.New computer only has 2 usb ports so I needed more for all my devices needing to be plugged into my computer. Its small so it doesnt take up much room on my desk.Very happy that I chose this one.

I have become a MacBook follower and have lots of Apple devices. I recently upgraded my 2013 MacBook to the new MacBook released in 2016. One of the big issues I have with the new MacBook is that it only has USB C ports. I have many USB devices that I want to connect and this creates a problem for me. I began searching for a hub. After spending quite some time browsing around I finally chose this one. So far I am very happy with it. It allows me to connect multiple USB devices. The transfer speed to my portable hard drive is fast. Also it has a SD card slot. This came in handy because we were able to pull off our photos from our digital camera before we sold it. Lastly I was surprised that there was a separate adapter included to convert USB C to USB 3.1!

Really cool hub. I got the new Mac Pro for my birthday and the only downside is the USB ports I need USB ports !!!!! I need to be able to plug my phone and USB for documents and I do a lot of picture projects and I need a slot for my SD to transfer my pictures. This hub is pretty cool its not an inconvenience its also not heavy at all, its very compact and fits inside my computer case perfectly and my computer reads the connection pretty fast like a regular computer, as soon as I plug it in my device pops up right always great hub glad I finally found one that works besides that expensive one that apple offers lol

Having a MacBook, I needed more USB ports. I saw this, it was reasonably priced and thought Id give it a try. So far, I have no regrets! It comes with three USB ports, a MicroSD slot, and an SD slot. Its nice because I dont need to get another adapter to plug in my MicroSD. It feels durable and doesnt feel heavy. I think my favorite part is that it matches with my laptop!

This hub is a great tool to carry in my laptop bag. It is very lightweight and slim. Since my MacBook has the two ports (USB-C), this allows me to use seven different USB devices at once! Its perfect to connect my phone for data transfers as well as to allow me to connect two different USB sticks and copy from one to the other. In the past I would have had to copy files to my computer and then back to the second USB stick. The additional SD/Micro-SD card readers are an added bonus to make getting pictures from my camera onto my computer that much quicker!
