Genius Loves Company 10th Anniversary

I have the original release on SACD and fell in love with the album. Recently getting back into Vinyl I had to jump at this 10th anniversary release and i was not disappointed. It does't say anywhere in the description or on the album so make sure to note this is a 45 RPM album. I just had my first listen and find this to be a very good release. I look forward to some in-depth listening down the road. I really like the wide verity of music and singers on this album, the songs really showcase all the artists talent. On the first run though my favorites are still Fever with Natalie Cole and Over The Rainbow with the sweet sounds of Johnny Mathis. The vinyl is a very good 180g pressing, flat and very quiet (at least on my equipment). If you're a Ray Charles fan and want to hear him do some different musical styles, don't hesitate to pick this one up. You won't be disapointed.

I'm extremely excited to add this LP to my collection. The record was shipped extremely fast. It also has a download card for the album, in a MP3 format for on the go.Cover was in great shape, and the record looked clean. I noticed it plays on the 45 speed instead of 33.

What can I say if you love blues it’s a must to have Ray Charles in your collection.

Sounds perfect, only if you play it at 45rpm...looks like a 33 but isn't, just FYI. The seller might want to mention that in the product description, but otherwise sounds amazing and better than in '04.

While Ray Charles is never bad, the artists on this CD rival his talent. His voice is beginning to show his age but no matter, I would still purchase because I'm such a fan.

Always been a fan of Brother Ray! His talent shines through on this CD... I swear him and I could sing together and he would make even ME sound good!
