THE MIC IS NOT GOOD QUALITY. IT FELL APART ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. THE BOTTOM STANDS BROKE FROM ONE EASY FALL TO THE FLOOR. VERY BAD PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY PAID.

Disappointing
This toy looks like one that any child would like. What kid doesn't like to use their MP3 player through some speakers and have a microphone to sing along? Well, apparently 9 year old girls. My daughter picked this out online as a gift for her 9th birthday. She was in tears after we hooked it all up and she tried it. Herein lies the problems: As you may expect, a speaker of this caliber has very poor sound quality... very poor. When we attempted to use the microphone, the volume is so low that the sound can hardly be heard outside of the child's own voice volume. What could be heard was also of very poor quality. While this toy is rated for kids 3 and up, perhaps a 4 year old would enjoy this best. The construction quality is very cheap, thin PVC. Step on it once and you have a toy-ending amount of damage. The overall look is good and the lights on the bottom section are kind of cool. So 4 year olds may know better than to use it as a weapon or at least understand the consequences of their actions, whereas younger children have no idea. Older children will not be entertained.I was going to return it, but since I have a 2 year old (almost 3), I gave it to him. Even he is not very entertained by it and just walks around with the actual microphone because he won't stop disassembling this very easy to disassemble product.I do not recommend this product to anyone, unless the price was dropped to perhaps $15. Luckily this is about all I paid due to the $50 Amazon credit card credit I received for opening a new ccard. I ended up buying a $180 karaoke machine with 2 microphones just to make up for my daughter's sadness. Shame on me perhaps, but her happiness is priceless to me.I hope this helps potential buyers down the road.

Its just okay
My daughter really wanted a microphone for Christmas. We purchased this microphone stand and she was thrilled! That being said, the microphone that came with it has already stopped working. One other minus for the stand is the "feet" on the bottom of the stand come off really easily (kids pick it up to move it somewhere else and one of the feet stay behind. When they get to the new location the whole thing falls over because 6 yr olds do not pay attention). Not a big problem, but slightly annoying. I knew what I was getting into though as I read the reviews and did expect to "Get what I paid for". Luckily for us, we have other microphones attached to broken toys so we have been able to replace the broken microphone.

My-mic adjustable microphone
I bought this for my 4 yr. old grand daughter. She loves it but has a hard time not speaking too close to the mic which really effects sound quality. The overal quality is fair to good, but very good considering the price. I am glad I bought it but will replace it with something of higher quality as she gets older. It disassembles very easy which is great for storage. Overall, we are both pleased and it is bringing out the entertainer in her!

Do not buy
I do not recommend this to anyone!!! Cheap plastic, falls apart and tips over way too easily. The speaker sounds terrible too.

I know it's cheap, but I've had better.
My main complaint is that the stand comes in two parts. the top part rests inside the bottom part. There is nothing to keep them attached so if you lift up on the upper part of the stand, it comes off. this seems to be intentional. I think it's lame. Also, the microphone is tethered to the stand by a very short cord. So if you walk even 1-2 steps away from the stand, the whole thing gets pulled over by the cord.

Good enough
Got this for my friend's 3-year old who loves to sing. It seems to be doing the job okay. Speakers are not great, but for the price it's getting the job done.
