Razor and Shaving Brush Stand by Slate Shave - Faux Ivory and Chrome Holder - Perfect for Wet Shaving Enthusiasts

I am a woman and have just remodeled our small bathroom which we had out of commission for some time. I was using my husbands razor and brush at his suggestion when I got them for him as an anniversary gift. Now that we have our own bathrooms I didn't want to carry it back and forth and have no intention of abandoning wet shaving. I ordered this stand to hold my new Edwin Jagger razor and Ambroley brush. There is a tone on tone grain to the faux ivory that will accommodate any shade ivory. It's great quality. You can see that but you can feel and hear it too. My husband liked it so much that he gave his "very nice" oil rubbed bronze stand to our son and I ordered him one like this in the faux rosewood color. They are truly beautiful!!! Fits everything perfectly.

All I hoped for - sturdy and attractive.The pieces fit well and there's no wobble.There's a foam pad in the bottom, but it's slightly recessed and doesn't actually contact anything. The bottom actually stands on its metal rim. I didn't think that was a severe enough defect to deduct a star.I have the Vie-long 13071 23mm Horsehair Brush with Olivewood Handle and it fits and hangs just right.

This shaving stand looks terrific in my bathroom. Even better, it efficiently holds my badger bristle brush and my razor.

It is hard to tell from a picture just what a product will really be like so I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this stand. I recently started pursuing a better shave and needed a stand that would hold my razor and brush and one that would look good in the bathroom. This is perfect. It functions like it should and looks great. It is well made and has a nice hefty weight to it. Would easily recommend it to a friend.

Looks good. The stand was actually slightly better quality than I expected. A word of warning, I use a Bluebeards revenge corsair superbadger brush. It, to me, has a fairly standard sized handle. My brush handle was too large to fit in the stand. I had get my Dremel tool and enlarge the opening for the brush to fit. Once I did that, it looks great with my razor and brush hanging from it.

Well balanced, aesthetically pleasing, the electroplated chrome finish is impeccable and flawless -actually much better than the German Merkur razor I bought it for.Correction Nov 2018:Did not survive shelf life in my pepper-dry cabinet: corroded through-and-through all over. Stay clear.With love from China, I suppose.

I don't know what all the rave reviews are about. The large side was too small for my shaving brush. I use a Proraso shaving brush - standard size. And the small side did not fit my Gillette Fusion handle at all - it just fell off no matter how I positioned it. And it shouldn't be that difficult anyway. So I returned it.

Really nice stand for razor and brush. I wanted one to match my Edwin Jagger DE razor and Vulfix best badger brush in ivory. This is a little taller than my old chrome like one. It is nice and heavy and looks great!
